Ladies Beach (Turkish: ''Kadınlar Denizi'') is a beach in Kuşadası, Aydın Province, Turkey Turkey, officially the Republic of Türkiye, is a country mainly located in Anatolia in West Asia, with a relatively small part called East Thrace in Southeast Europe. It borders the Black Sea to the north; Georgia (country), Georgia, Armen .... It is visited by local residents especially on Sundays. The beach is sandy. The Turkish name ''Kadınlar Denizi'' (Women's Sea) comes from the historical usage of the beach during the Ottoman period, when only women were allowed to swim there. Kuşadası () is a municipality and district of Aydın Province, Turkey. Its area is 265 km2, and its population is 130,835 (2022). It is a large resort town on the Aegean coast. A beach is a landform alongside a body of water which consists of loose particles. The particles composing a beach are typically made from rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, etc., or biological sources, such as mollusc shells or coralline algae. Sediments settle in different densities and structures, depending on the local wave action and weather, creating different textures, colors and gradients or layers of material.
