Lachlan Ross
Lachlan Ross (born 12 August 1973) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon Football Club, Essendon in the Australian Football League (AFL) and West Adelaide Football Club, West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Ross was drafted by Essendon with pick #28 in the 1992 AFL draft#1993 pre-season draft, 1993 pre-season draft. He made his senior debut in 1994 against Sydney Swans, kicking a goal with his first kick. The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind").
