Lachlan Mitchell (record Producer)
Lachlan Mitchell is an Australian record producer, engineer, mixer and musician. He works at Jungle Studios in Leichhardt and Attic Studios in the Studios 301 complex in Sydney. Mitchell has worked with musicians across the spectrum, from indie rock through to black metal. Biography Mitchell was born in London and raised in Sydney, Australia. After graduating from audio engineering at AFTRS he worked as an assistant engineer at London’s Air Studios under the management of Beatles producer George Martin. There he assisted on albums for musicians including Nik Kershaw, Phil Collins, John Martyn and Johnny Diesel. On returning to Sydney he worked at Studios 301 with Kate Ceberano, Groove Terminator, and Swoop, among others. Nitocris ( el, Νίτωκρις) possibly was the last pharaoh of ancient Egypt's Sixth Dynasty. Her name is found in Herodotus' ''Histories'' (430BC) and in writings by the 3rd-century BC Manetho, but her historicity has been questioned. If she was in fact a historical person, then she may have been an interregnum queen, the sister of Merenre Nemtyemsaf II and the daughter of Pepi II and Queen Neith. Alternatively, the Egyptologist Kim Ryholt has argued that Nitocris is legendary and derives from the historical male pharaoh Neitiqerty Siptah, who succeeded Merenre Nemtyemsaf II at the transition between the Old Kingdom and First Intermediate Period. Nazxul are an Australian black metal band which formed in 1993. They issued two studio albums, ''Totem'' (March 1995) and ''Iconoclast'' (July 2009). Australian Music Prize
The Australian Music Prize (often shortened to the AMP) is an annual award of $30,000 given to an Australian band or solo artist in recognition of the merit of an album released during the year of award. The award was made by Australian Music Prize Ltd, a sole-purpose entity sponsored by a variety of music industry figures and record companies. The AMP was established in 2005. The Porkers
The Porkers are an Australian ska punk band from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Formed in 1987 as The Pork Hunts, the band was eventually forced to change its name to the less offensive-sounding The Porkers in 1990 after their regular Newcastle venue refused to present them under their old name. Because of this, their first release was the 1990 EP entitled ''Tired of Being Pork Hunts'', which reached No. 6 on the Australian independent charts. In 1994, their debut album ''Grunt!'' received rave reviews and entered the American market through Moon Ska Records. The album was a mixture of studio and live tracks, and included covers of Devo's ''Mongoloid'' and Radio Birdman's ''Aloha Steve and Danno''. Motor Ace
Motor Ace are an Australian alternative rock band. Formed in Melbourne around 1998 out of the remains of another band named Snowblind, their members are Patrick ('Patch') Robertson (vocals/guitar), Damian Birchall Costin (drums), Matt Balfe (bass), and Dave Ong (guitar). One Dollar Short were an Australian punk rock band formed in 1998, and hailing from Terrigal in New South Wales' Central Coast region. They're best known for their debut studio album ''Eight Days Away'' which peaked at number 7 on the ARIA charts in 2002. History One Dollar Short members are Michael Smith (drums), Trent Crawford (guitar), Tim Flaherty (guitar and backing vocals), Adam Check (bass) and Scott E. Woods (vocals) and they formed in 1998. The Amenta
The Amenta are an Australian Heavy metal music, metal band formed in 1997 as Crucible of Agony. By 2002 the line-up was Cesium 137 (aka Mark Bevan) on lead vocals, Diazanon (Dave Haley) on drums, Ethion (Erik Miehs) on guitar, Endrin (Nathan Jenkins) on bass guitar and Chlordane (Timothy Pope) on keyboards.
