Sindhi Language
Sindhi ( ; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 30 million people in the Pakistani province of Sindh, where it has official status. It is also spoken by a further 1.7 million people in India, where it is a Scheduled languages of India, scheduled language, without any state-level official status. The main writing system is the Perso-Arabic script, which accounts for the majority of the Sindhi literature and is the only one currently used in Pakistan. In India, both the Perso-Arabic script and Devanagari are used. Sindhi has an attested history from the 10th century CE. Hyderabad, Sindh
Hyderabad ( Sindhi and ur, ; ) is a city and the capital of Hyderabad Division in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is the second-largest city in Sindh, and the eighth largest in Pakistan. Founded in 1768 by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro of the Kalhora Dynasty, Hyderabad served as a provincial capital until the British transferred the capital to Bombay presidency in 1840. It is about inland of Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan, to which it is connected by a direct railway and M-9 motorway. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti (writer)
Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti is an engineer turned educationist, poet and academic author from Sindh, Pakistan. He has written more than two hundred books including several textbooks in Sindhi, Urdu, and English Language. Ali Bhatti received his engineering degree from Sindh Agriculture University and then Masters in English Literature from University of Sindh. His poems and articles appear in different newspapers. Ali Bhatti has authored more than two hundred books which have also been kept on exhibitions. History and profile ''Gul Phul'' was started in 1959 and enjoys the status of being the first and oldest children's magazine in Sindhi.
