''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Initially based in Minneapolis, Pitchfork later moved to Chicago, and then Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Its offices are currently located in One World Trade Center alongside other Condé Nast publications. Los Crudos is an American hardcore punk band from Chicago, Illinois active from 1991 to 1998 and from 2006 onward. Comprising all Latino members, the band paved the way for later Spanish-speaking punk bands in the United States and helped to increase the presence of Latinos in the country's predominantly white punk subculture. Los Crudos express a left-wing political critique of issues affecting Latin America and the Latino community, such as U.S. imperialism, racism, xenophobia, and economic inequality. They have been described as "one of '90s punk's truly great bands" and "one of the greatest hardcore bands...ever." Limp Wrist is an American punk rock band, who formed in 1998. Featuring members of Los Crudos, Hail Mary, Devoid of Faith, By the Throat, and Kill the Man Who Questions, the band plays short, fast hardcore music, and covers themes concerning the gay community in their live performances and lyrics. They are an openly gay band and they identify as part of the "queercore" punk subculture. The band declared in ''Frontiers'' magazine, "We put the 'core' back in 'Queercore'". The band are featured on the cover of ''My Brain Hurts'', Liz Baillie's comic about queer teenagers in New York City. Good Throb was a feminist punk band from London that was active between 2010 and 2016. They consisted of KY Ellie (Ellie Roberts) on vocals, BB Thing (Bryony Beynon) on guitar, Ash Tray (Ashleigh Holland) on bass and L-Hard (Louis Harding) on drums. The band formed after having all met through the London punk scene. They started with the intention of everyone taking part doing something new to them, whether that was playing an instrument or being the vocalist. Beynon and Harding had previously played together in a band called The Sceptres where Beynon was vocalist and Harding was on bass. Arms Race were an English hardcore punk band formed in London in 2012. They were a part of the New Wave of British Hardcore. History Arms Race was formed at end of 2012, by Nick Stab, Ola Herbich, Patrick Henderson and Oli McVean in an attempt to make music that merged the sounds of United Blood, Condemned 84 and The Partisans (band), The Partisans. They released their first demo as a band in 2013. On 1 October 2014, they released their debut EP ''Gotta Get Out'', through Quality Control HQ and Painkiller Records. In April 2015, they played Washington D.C.'s Damaged City Festival. In June 2015, they toured the U.S. with co-headliner Violent Reaction.
