La Trampa
La Trampa was an Uruguayan rock band. It was conformed by Garo Arakelián (guitar), Alejandro Spuntone (vocals), Irvin Carballo (drums) and Carlos Ráfols (bass). The early years La Trampa appeared in scene in 1991 being conformed since winter 1990 by the first two members, architecture students Garo Arakelián and Sergio Schellemberg. In those times the band was formed only by classmates of Garo and Sergio (Martín Rosas 'vocalist', Nicolás Rodríguez 'drums' and Gabriel Francia 'bass'). After a year of work (with Garo and Sergio composing almost every song and all the band rehearsing), La Trampa appeared for the first time on stage, that was on May 3, 1991, in El Tinglado theater (in companion of Cadáveres Ilustres, another Uruguayan band), in those times, the band's manager was Aldo Silva. Tango is a style of music in or time that originated among European and African immigrant populations of Argentina and Uruguay (collectively, the " Rioplatenses"). Malambo (Dance)
Malambo is a folk dance in Argentina, a dance of gauchos. It is a solo dance of men (although it may be performed in groups). Its notable elements are elaborate leg movements with energetic '' zapateado''s (stomping) and ''cepillados'' ("brushing"/"scrubbing"). Chacarera
The Chacarera is a dance and music that originated in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. It is a genre of folk music that, for many Argentines, serves as a rural counterpart to the cosmopolitan imagery of the Tango. Traidores (English for "the traitors") is a Uruguayan punk rock band founded during the post-dictatorship disarray of mid-1980s Uruguay. History ''Traidores'' was born in 1983 when Víctor Nattero and Juan Casanova (his cousin) got together with Pablo Dana and Alejandro Bourdillon started practicing in their houses. The band was influenced by The Clash, Sex Pistols, and by British punk rock from the late 1970s in general. The group started playing live and grew in popularity, attracting a large following for the local scene in which they were based. El Peyote Asesino is an Uruguayan hip-hop and hard rock band that was active from 1994 to 1999. The band members included L. Mental (vocals), Daniel Benia (bass), Juan Campodónico (guitars), P.P.
