La Salle Secondary School, Kota Kinabalu
La Salle Secondary School, Kota Kinabalu ('' Malay: Sekolah Menengah La Salle Kota Kinabalu'') is a co-educational secondary school for boys and girls (mostly boys) and one of the oldest schools in Kota Kinabalu on the coast of Borneo in East Malaysia. It was established in 1953 by Rev. Fr. Bernard Davies, a Mill Hill Missionary. Despite being an all-boys mission school, the students consist of all races regardless of religion. The school is divided into two pieces of land. The Senior Block (form 4 to Form 6), remains at its current location. The Junior Block (Form 1 to Form 3) has been relocated to the new ground to accommodate the increase in student enrolment. The single-session secondary school is located in Tanjung Aru. Datuk Peter Joinod Mojuntin, PGDK (11 October 1939, in Kampung Hungab, Donggongon, Penampang – 6 June 1976, in Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu) was a politician in the Malaysian state of Sabah and Minister of Municipal Administration in the government of Tun Fuad Stephens. He died along with other politicians in the Double Six Plane Crash in Kota Kinabalu. Ahmadshah bin Abdullah ( Jawi: أحمد شاه عبدﷲ; born 9 December 1946) is a retired Malaysian civil servant who served as Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of the state of Sabah from 2003 to 2010. He is currently a Pro-Chancellor of MARA University of Technology. The Ketua Menteri Sabah or Chief Minister of Sabah is the head of government of the Malaysian state of Sabah. Since September 2020, the position has been held by Hajiji Noor from the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), Perikatan Nasional (PN) from the coalition of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) which had won the 2020 Sabah state election. As in other parts of the Malaysian federation, the Westminster Parliamentary system is adopted, whereby, the leader of the party with the most seats in the state legislature would usually become the chief minister of Sabah. Richard Malanjum
Tun Richard Malanjum (born 13 October 1952) is a Malaysian jurist and lawyer who served as the ninth Chief Justice of Malaysia and fourth Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak.
