La Ragazza In Vetrina
''Girl in the Window'' ( it, La ragazza in vetrina, french: La fille dans la vitrine) is a 1961 Italian-French drama film written and directed by Luciano Emmer and starring Lino Ventura and Magali Noël. It is based on the novel by Giovanni Comisso. Plot A group of boys from Italy arrives in Netherland to work for a local mining company. One of the miners Frederico takes one of the boys (Vincenzo) under his wings. During their first day at the mines it comes to an accident. The miners are buried for several days. After they come free Vincenzo wants to finish his job but Frederico persuade him to join one last hang out and fun bar tour. They come around and end up in red light spot with different girls in windows presenting themselves as prostitutes. One of the girls (Chanel) is an old flame from Frederico. Luciano Emmer
Luciano Emmer (19 January 1918 – 16 September 2009) was an Italian film director. He was born in Milan, but most of his childhood lived in Venice. He started as filmmaker at filming Giotto's frescoes in Padua in 1938. Screenwriter Sergio Amidei, found the finance for Emmer to make a feature about Romans spending a Sunday in August on the beach at Ostia. He won a Golden Globe in 1951 for '' Pictura: An Adventure in Art''. He has directed more documentaries than fiction pictures, most notably ''Domenica d'agosto'' and the romance-comedy-drama ''Three Girls from Rome''. Luciano Emmer started his career as a filmmaker working with Enrico Gras. He founded the production company Dolomiti Film and directed several documentaries. Marina Vlady (born 10 May 1938) is a French actress. Biography Vlady was born in Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine to White Russian immigrant parents. Her father was an opera singer and her mother was a dancer. Her sisters, now all deceased, were the actresses Odile Versois, Hélène Vallier and Olga Baïdar-Poliakoff. The sisters began acting as children and, for a while, pursued a ballet career. Peter Faber (born 9 October 1943, in Schwarzenbach an der Saale, Germany) is a Dutch stage, television and film actor.
