''Special Killers'' (Italian title: ''La ragazza di via Condotti'', French title: ''Meurtres à Rome'' or ''Le crime de la via Condotti'', Spanish title: ''La chica de via Condotti'') is a 1973 Italian-French-Spanish crime-thriller film directed by Germán Lorente. The film stars are Frederick Stafford, Femi Benussi, Claude Jade and Michel Constantin. Plot An attractive brunette, Simone Mattei (Patty Shepard) is drunk and argues with her husband Sandro (Frederick Stafford). This visits his best friend Tiffany (Claude Jade) and complains her his suffering in the marriage crisis. While Sandro stays at Tiffany, Simone makes love with a lover. The tough guy penetrates her and starts at the same time to strangle her. He keeps on strangling the beauty until she is dead. An hour later, Sandro, who is a private investigator, finds his dead wife Simone. Frederick Stafford
Frederick Stafford (11 March 1928 – 28 July 1979) was a Czechoslovak-born actor. Born Friedrich Strobel von Stein, he spoke fluent Czech, German, English, French and Italian, and was a leading man in European spy-movies. Biography Early life By some accounts, Stafford claimed to have played water polo at the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was the son of a Slovak factory owner. He studied chemistry and spent time in Switzerland. He was worried about the Russians taking over Czechoslovakia and in 1948 decided to leave. Manuel de Blas Muñoz (born 12 April 1941) is a Spanish film, television, and stage actor. Biography Manuel de Blas was born in Badajoz in 1941. He spent his childhood in Córdoba and subsequently moved to Madrid to study political science. While attending college he enrolled in an acting school, making his debut in films in 1961 with a minor role in the film ''Rosa de Lima''. In 1967 on the set of ''Cita en Navarra'' he met American film actress Patty Shepard, whom he married in the same year. They went on to act in several films together and remained married for 46 years, until the death of the actress in January 2013. During his career, he has starred in many films. In 2012 he obtained a role in the movie Paranormal Xperience 3D. He is brother-in-law of American soap opera actress Judith Chapman. Giacomo Furia
Giacomo Matteo Furia (2 January 1925 – 5 June 2015) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1948 and 1998. Life and career Born in Arienzo, near Caserta, Furia started his acting career thanks to Eduardo De Filippo, he had met through an after-school summer job; he made his professional debut on stage in 1945, in De Filippo's "Napoli milionaria". He made his film debut three years later, in Mario Mattoli's '' Assunta Spina''; mainly cast in character roles, he was often a sidekick of Totò, notably landing a major role in ''The Band of Honest Men''. His credits include films directed by Federico Fellini, Vittorio De Sica, Roberto Rossellini and Francesco Rosi. In 1997 Furia released an autobiography written in collaboration with Michele Avitabile, ''Le maggiorate, il principe e l'ultimo degli onesti''. He died on 5 June 2015, aged 90. Arturo Dominici (2 January 1916 – 7 September 1992) was an Italian film, television and voice actor. Biography Born in Palermo, Dominici became best known for his many villainous roles in horror and fantasy films. He is best remembered for his performance as the monstrous Igor Javuto in Mario Bava's ''Black Sunday (1960 film), Black Sunday'' (1960) and the evil Eurysteus in the 1958 Steve Reeves epic ''Hercules (1958 film), Hercules''. His filmography includes more than 80 titles, including Antonio Margheriti's ''Castle of Blood'' (1964), in which he appeared with ''Black Sunday'' star Barbara Steele. Dominici dubbed the voice of Austrian actor Walter Ladengast in the Italian release version of Werner Herzog's ''Nosferatu the Vampyre'' (1979). Dominici's daughter, Germana, is an Italian stage actress; at the age of 14 she had a small role as a farm girl in ''Black Sunday''.
