La Moinerie Crater
La Moinerie is an impact crater in Quebec, Canada. It is 8 km in diameter and the age is estimated to be 400 ± 50 million years (Silurian or Devonian). The crater is exposed to the surface and filled with water, forming Lac La Moinerie. Glaciers have eroded many of La Moinerie crater's original physical features, including much of the central uplift. It is located in Rivière-Koksoak, in the Kativik The Kativik Regional Government (french: Administration régionale Kativik, KGR) encompasses most of the Nunavik region of Quebec. Rivière-Koksoak, Quebec
Rivière-Koksoak is a very large unorganized territory (Quebec), unorganized territory in the Kativik Regional Government territory in the Nord-du-Québec region of Quebec. It is named after the Koksoak River. It consists of nearly the entire eastern part of northernmost Quebec. Bordering it to the west is the other large unorganized territory in Kativik, Baie-d'Hudson, Quebec, Baie-d'Hudson. Its population in the Canada 2011 Census was 0; enclaved within it, however, are various northern village (Quebec), northern villages (i.e., Inuit communities) and one (uninhabited) Naskapi village municipality. Kativik, Quebec
Kativik is a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) of Quebec, with geographical code 992. Its land area is 443,372.20 km2 (171,186.96 sq mi), and its population was 12,090 at the 2011 Census of Canada.
