Julián Soler (born Julián DÃaz Pavia; 17 February 1907 – 5 May 1977) was a Mexican film director, actor, and screenwriter of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. In his career spanning half a century, Soler received two Ariel Award nominations. Early life Julián Soler was born in Ciudad Jiménez, Chihuahua, as Julián DÃaz PavÃa on 17 February 1907 to Domingo DÃaz GarcÃa and Irene PavÃa Soler. Sara GarcÃa Hidalgo (8 September 1895 – 21 November 1980) was a Mexican actress who made her biggest mark during the "Golden Age of Mexican cinema". During the 1940s and 1950s, she often played the part of a no-nonsense but lovable grandmother in numerous Mexican films. In later years, she played parts in Mexican telenovelas. Julio Villarreal (7 December 1885 – 4 August 1958) was a Spanish actor who later settled and worked in Mexico.
