La Mia Città
"La mia città" ( en, My city) is a song by Italians, Italian singer Emma Marrone. It was chosen by Italy's public broadcaster RAI to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The song received only 33 points in the final vote, ranking at 21st place out of 26 in the final ranking of the competition. This represents one of the worst placements in Italy's Eurovision Song Contest history – its lowest ever finish by absolute finishing position, although not its worst relative finish or score (having previously finished 17th and joint-last with ''nul points'' in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966, 1966 contest with Domenico Modugno's "Dio, come ti amo"). Emmanuela "Emma" Marrone (; born 25 May 1984), known professionally as Emma, is an Italian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. After working with several bands, she won the Italian talent show ''Amici di Maria De Filippi'' in March 2010, and signed a contract with record label Universal Music. Since 2010, she has released 7 solo studio albums, 1 extended play and 39 singles, topping the Italian Singles Chart and the Italian Albums Chart four times and selling more than 1.6 million records in Italy. "Dio, come ti amo" (English translation: "God, How I Love You") is a song which was first performed as duo by Domenico Modugno and Gigliola Cinquetti at the Sanremo Music Festival 1966. By winning the competition, it was chosen as the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966, and performed in Italian language, Italian by Modugno. It was also the title of an Italian Musicarello (Italian musical) released in 1966. The Eurovision Song Contest 1966 was the 11th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Luxembourg (city), Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, following the country's victory at the with the song "Poupée de cire, poupée de son" by France Gall.
