La Loma (Jaén)
La Loma () is a Spanish comarca in the province of Jaén, Andalusia. It lies in the central part of Jaén, and includes two cities declared World Heritage by the UNESCO: Úbeda and Baeza. La Loma covers an area of 1037 square kilometres. Its population of 77,162 (2017) is mainly concentrated in the cities of Úbeda and Baeza. In Spain, a ''comarca'' (, sing. ''comarca'') is either a traditional territorial division without any formal basis, or a group of municipalities, legally defined by an autonomous community for the purpose of providing common local government services. In English, a comarca is equivalent to a district, county, area or zone. Baeza, Spain
Baeza () is a city and municipality of Spain belonging to the province of Jaén, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is part of the ''comarca'' of La Loma. It is now principally famed for having some of the best-preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain.
