La Colección (Menudo Album)
''La colección'' is a compilation album by Puerto Rican boy band Menudo, released in April 1990 by the record label Melody. The album was released exclusively in Mexico in LP, cassette, and CD formats. Although the songs are taken from albums released in 1987 and 1988, featuring a different lineup, the album cover displays the members at the time of its release: Sergio Blass, Rubén Gómez, Robert Avellanet, Rawy Torres, and César Abreu. The tracklist of the compilation consists entirely of songs originally from the albums '' Somos los hijos del Rock'' (1987) and '' Sombras y figuras'' (1988). The six songs from the first album are: "Ámame ahora, no mañana," "Cuando sea grande," "Mi sombra en la pared (Bailo con mi sombra)," "Estamos en acción," "Llámame," and "Dame más." Menudo (group)
Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band formed by producer Edgardo Díaz. Referred to as the "most iconic Latino pop music band", they have been ranked as one of the biggest boy bands of all time by several publications, including ''Billboard'', ''Us Weekly'', '' Seventeen'', and ''Teen Vogue'', being the only Latin band on their lists. The band had several radio hits during its career. ''Los Últimos Héroes'' is a studio album by the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo, released in 1989 by the record label Melody.. The album was produced and recorded in Caracas, Venezuela, by Willie Croes, who is a producer and husband of Brazilian singer Elisa Rego.. The group's lineup included Sergio Gonzalez, Rubén Gómez, Angelo García, Robert Avellanet, and the new member Rawy Torres, who replaced Ricky Martin. Promotion To promote the album, the group embarked on an extensive tour, performing 40 shows in the United States and various other countries in South America. In 1989, a concert held in Caracas was released on VHS. The recordings took place at El Poliedro De Caracas on October 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday), 1989. This album is the fourth to feature songs in Portuguese. As mentioned by one of the members in an interview, the project: “is a Portuguese-language album made with great care, compiling the group’s hits with 10 songs from their last four albums”. ''Somos Los Hijos Del Rock'' is the twenty-fourth studio album by the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo, released in 1987 by the Melody label. The group’s lineup included members: Ricky Martin, Raymond Acevedo, Sergio Blass, and new members Ralphy Rodríguez and Rubén Gómez. Ralphy replaced Charlie Massó and Ruben Gómez replaced Robby Rosa.
