La-Ventura
La-Ventura is a female fronted rock/ melodic metal band based in the Netherlands. It was founded by ex- Orphanage drummer Erwin Polderman and vocalist Carla van Huizen in 2005. Its sound is characterized by groovy drum beats, raunchy riffs and melodic female vocals. History 2006–2012 The band terminated their agreement with Razar Ice Records in July 2007 --- just two months before the planned release date for their first album, and continued the production themselves. Their first album, '' A New Beginning'', debuted on October 6, 2007, and the band signed a record deal with the American-based Renaissance Records in January 2008. The album was officially released in North America on March 18, 2008. __NOTOC__ Orphanage were a death metal/ gothic metal band from the Netherlands. History The band was formed in 1993 and released their first demos ''Morph'' (1993) and ''Druid'' (1994). Orphanage then recorded their first full album Oblivion (1995) and one year later released their second album, By Time Alone. In 1997, the band released the EP At The Mountains Of Madness and worked three years on the album Inside, which was released in 2000. The last album Driven was released in 2004. On 18 October 2005 the band announced that they had disbanded. All 4 full albums were released on the Nuclear Blast and DSFA labels. Goes
Goes () is a city and municipality in the southwestern Netherlands on Zuid-Beveland, in the province of Zeeland. The city of Goes has approximately 27,000 residents. History Goes was founded in the 10th century on the edge of a creek: de Korte Gos (the Short Gos). The village grew fast, and in the early 12th century it had a market square and a church devoted to Mary Magdalene. By 1300 it had a brick castle, now known as Oostende Castle. In 1405 Goes received city rights from William, Duke of Bavaria, by his right as count of Holland, and in 1417 it was allowed to build town walls. The prosperity of the city was based upon the cloth industry and the production of salt. In the 16th century Goes declined. Its connection to the sea silted up and in 1554 a large fire destroyed part of the city. In the English language, black sheep is an idiom that describes a member of a group who is different from the rest, especially a family member who does not fit in. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses.
