LLA Azteca Championship
The LLA Azteca Championship (''Campeonato Azteca de LLA'' in Spanish) was a professional wrestling championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Lucha Libre Azteca (LLA) between 2009 and 2014. This championship had no weight limit nor any other limits on who could become champion. It was sponsored by TV Azteca Noreste, who televised all championship matches and covered professional wrestling in Monterrey, Nuevo León on a weekly basis. The Championship was last seen on May 4, 2014 and was not promoted by LLA between that date and LLA's last show on September 27, 2015. No champion was able to successfully defend the championship as it changed hands each time LLA and CMLL promoted a title match. Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. CMLL currently recognizes and promotes twelve "World Championships" for various weight divisions and classifications, six national level and six regional level championships. La Peste Negra
''La Peste Negra'' (Spanish for "The Black Plague") was a Mexican ''lucha libre'' (professional wrestling) ''rudo'', or villainous, group also known as a stable that works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The core of the group is the Casas wrestling family, which includes members Negro Casas and El Felino and former members Heavy Metal and Princesa Blanca. The group is rounded out by Mr. Niebla and rookies Bárbaro Cavernario and Herodes, Jr. The group was founded in July 2008 when Mr. Niebla returned to CMLL after working for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and has consistently been used at the main event and semi-main event level in CMLL. A house show or live event is a professional wrestling event produced by a major promotion that is not televised, though they can be recorded. Promotions use house shows mainly to cash in on the exposure that they and their wrestlers receive during televised events, as well as to test reactions to matches, wrestlers, and gimmicks that are being considered for the main televised programming and upcoming pay-per-views. Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza (born November 3, 1989) is a Mexican professional wrestler who is currently signed to the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Andrade El Idolo (also stylized Andrade "El Ídolo"). He is also known for his appearances in Mexico for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and in Japan for New Japan Pro-Wrestling as La Sombra (Spanish for "The Shadow"), and for his appearances with the United States-based promotion WWE as Andrade "Cien" Almas (later shortened to simply Andrade). Torneo Cibernetico
A ''torneo cibernetico'' is a multi-man professional wrestling elimination match that was created and primarily used in Mexican ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotions, especially in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The match format sees two teams of varying sizes face off against each other. It uses standard ''lucha libre'' tag team rules with elimination occurring with a pinfall, submission, disqualification and count out and allows a wrestler to enter the match when their tag team partner exits the ring as well as when they tag out. A special 'batting' order system is used in which the wrestlers are given a specific order and may only tag in and out in this order. Mephisto (wrestler)
Mephisto (born December 10, 1968) is the ring name of a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler and currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). His real name is not a matter of official record as he is an ''enmascarado'', which by ''lucha libre'' traditions means that his personal life is kept secret from the general public. Mephisto is the son of Luchador Astro Rey/Kahoz and has previously worked both as Astro Rey Jr. and Kahoz Jr. but has been most successful as Mephisto. Ephesto
Ephesto (born June 10, 1965) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (Spanish for "masked professional wrestler"). Ephesto's real name has not been officially documented, a tradition in Mexican lucha libre where masked wrestlers' real names often are not a matter of public record. The wrestler currently known as Ephesto made his debut in 1982 and worked for almost 20 years as Pantera del Ring with limited success. He later worked under the name Safari where he won the Mexican National Trios Championship on two occasions. Averno (wrestler)
Renato Ruíz Cortes (born May 9, 1977) is a Mexican professional wrestler better known by the ring name Averno (''Hell''). Ruíz initially worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Rencor Latino in 1995, but did not achieve any significant success until he adopted the ring name Averno in June 2001. Under his new ring name, Ruíz went on to become a one–time CMLL World Middleweight, CMLL World Trios Champion, NWA World Middleweight Champion and NWA World Historic Middleweight Champion and a three–time CMLL World Tag Team Champion.
