Overview The stadium was originally named LIPO Park after its anchor tenant, Swiss furniture retailer LIPO. It replaced at the beginning of 2017 FC Schaffhausen's previous home ground Stadion Breite. The stadium has a seated capacity of 8,200 spectators for football matches capable of accommodating 20,000 people for large events like concerts. The main stand of the stadium is a three-storey building of which two lower storeys consist of sales, office and catering areas. The top floor houses lounges and VIP boxes. The 2016–17 Swiss Challenge League (known for sponsorship reasons as the Brack.ch Challenge League) was the 14th season of the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier in the Swiss football pyramid. It began on 23 July 2016 and ended on 3 June 2017. On 1 May 2017 FC Le Mont decided to voluntarily relegate three steps down in the league system after being denied a licence to play in the Swiss Challenge League.
