La France Audacieuse
Audacious France (LFA; ) is a French political party positioned centre-right on the political spectrum. The movement was founded by Christian Estrosi as a movement of local elected officials in October 2017 with several right-wing personalities such as Jean-Luc Moudenc, mayor of Toulouse; Gilles Avérous, mayor of Châteauroux; Alain Chrétien, mayor of Vesoul; and Luc Lemonnier, mayor of Le Havre. LFA became a party in 2020. History Launch On October 14, 2017, Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, launched a movement of local elected officials which he called “''France audacieuse''”. This name was already that of a civil society think tank, active since 2016, which carries out in-depth studies on sustainable development and the social economy. The launch of Christian Estrosi's movement was therefore marred by accusations of plagiarism, heavily relayed on Twitter and in the media. The object of the association was to "bring a renewal in French political life by organizing ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Logical Framework Approach
The Logical Framework Approach (LFA) is a methodology mainly used for designing, monitoring, and evaluating international development projects. Variations of this tool are known as Goal Oriented Project Planning (GOPP) or Objectives Oriented Project Planning (OOPP). Background The Logical Framework Approach was developed in 1969 for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). It is based on a worldwide study by Leon J. Rosenberg, a principal of Fry Consultants Inc. In 1970 and 1971, USAID implemented the method in 30 country assistance programs under the guidance of Practical Concepts Incorporated, founded by Rosenberg. It has been widely used by multilateral donor organizations, such as AECID, GIZ, SIDA, NORAD, DFID, SDC, UNDP, EC and the Inter-American Development Bank. Some non-governmental organizations offer LFA training to ground-level field staff. It has also gained popularity in the private sector, for example, in health care. Description The Logical Frame ... Lexus LFA
The is a two-seat sports car manufactured by Lexus, the luxury car division of Toyota. It is the second model in the Lexus F, F marque line of performance vehicles from Lexus, following the Lexus IS F, IS F, and also the first standalone Lexus F model. Three concept versions were unveiled, each debuting at the North American International Auto Show with the LF-A designation as part of the Lexus LF, LF Series concept line. After beginning development in the early 2000s (with a codename of TXS), the first LF-A concept premiered in 2005, followed in 2007 by a second concept with a more completely furnished interior and exterior. The third version of the LF-A, featuring a Roadster (automobile), roadster body style premiered in 2008. The production model, trademarked LFA, was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2009. According to Lexus, the "A" in production LFA name stands for the "Apex" of the LF line of cars. Akio Toyoda, CEO of parent company Toyota Motor Corporation (TM ... Lunar Flag Assembly
The Lunar Flag Assembly (LFA) was a kit containing a flag of the United States designed to be erected on the Moon during the Apollo program. Six such flag assemblies were planted on the Moon. The nylon flags were hung on telescoping staffs and horizontal bars constructed of one-inch anodized aluminum tubes. The flags were carried on the outside of the Apollo Lunar Module (LM), most of them on the descent ladder inside a thermally insulated tubular case to protect them from exhaust gas temperatures calculated to reach . The assembly was designed and supervised by Jack Kinzler, head of technical services at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, Manned Spacecraft Center (MSC) in Houston, Texas. Six of the flags (including one for Apollo 13 which was not planted on the Moon) were ordered from a government supply catalog and measured ; the last one planted on the Moon was the slightly larger, -wide flag which had hung in the MSC Mission Operations Control Room for most of the Apollo progra ... Low-functioning Autism
= Outdated terms = Low-functioning autism (LFA) is a degree of autism marked by difficulties with social communication and interaction, challenging behavior, and differences in social or emotional reciprocity. Sleep problems, aggression, stereotypical, and self-injurious behavior are also common symptoms. LFA is not a recognized diagnosis in the DSM-5 or ICD-10, as neither subdivides autism based on intellectual capabilities. Other terms include Kanner's syndrome, Kannerian autism (both named after Leo Kanner), and classic autism. The terms overlap with severe autism and profound autism, as opposed to ''mild'' or ''moderate'', which do not necessarily correlate with severe and profound levels of intellectual disability, where ''profound'' is the most severe level. Characterization Those who display symptoms for LFA usually have "impairments in all the three areas of psychopathology: reciprocal social interaction, communication, and restricted, stereotyped, repetitive behaviour ... Lateral Flow Test
A lateral flow test (LFT), is an assay also known as a lateral flow device (LFD), lateral flow immunochromatographic assay, or rapid test. It is a simple device intended to detect the presence of a target substance in a liquid sample without the need for specialized and costly equipment. LFTs are widely used in medical diagnostics in the home, at the point of care, and in the laboratory. For instance, the home pregnancy test is an LFT that detects a specific hormone. These tests are simple and economical and generally show results in around five to thirty minutes. Many lab-based applications increase the sensitivity of simple LFTs by employing additional dedicated equipment. Because the target substance is often a biological antigen, many lateral flow tests are rapid antigen tests (RAT or ART). LFTs operate on the same principles of affinity chromatography as the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). In essence, these tests run the liquid sample along the surface of a pad w ... Laser Flash Analysis
The laser flash analysis or laser flash method is used to measure thermal diffusivity of a variety of different materials. An energy pulse heats one side of a plane-parallel sample and the resulting time dependent temperature rise on the backside due to the energy input is detected. The higher the thermal diffusivity of the sample, the faster the energy reaches the backside. A laser flash apparatus (LFA) to measure thermal diffusivity over a broad temperature range, is shown on the right hand side. In a one-dimensional, adiabatic case the thermal diffusivity a is calculated from this temperature rise as follows: : a = 0.1388 \cdot \frac Where * a is the thermal diffusivity in cm2/s * d is the thickness of the sample in cm * t_ is the time to the half maximum in s Measurement principle The laser flash method was developed by Parker et al. in 1961. In a vertical setup, a light source (e.g. laser, flashlamp) heats the sample from the bottom side and a detector on top detec ... Legacy Fighting Alliance
Legacy Fighting Alliance is an American mixed martial arts promotion, created as a result of the ''Legacy Fighting Championship'' and ''Resurrection Fighting Alliance'' merger in early 2017. History Resurrection Fighting Alliance On October 11, 2012, officials for the Pompano Beach, Florida based MMA promotion Titan Fighting Championships (Titan FC) were acquired by the Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA), along with certain fighter contracts, as well as the organization's television deal with what is now AXS TV. The goal was to combine the talent of both organizations under one umbrella, the RFA. Titan FC owner and president Joe Kelly was brought in as the vice president of the newly merged company; and seasoned MMA manager and Black House gym owner, Ed Soares, acted as president. Original Titan founder Joe Kelly bought back the organization (Titan FC) in 2013 and produced two more shows on his own: ''Titan FC 25: Lashley vs. Asplund'' in June, and ''Titan FC 26: Hallman vs. Ho ...
