LEB Catalan Basketball League
The LEB Catalan basketball league is the 2nd-tier level regional professional preseason basketball competition that is organized by the Catalan Basketball Federation since 2000, in Catalonia, Spain. Catalan LEB ( Spanish 2nd Division) teams play in this competition. In some years, the winning team of this competition has also played in the top-tier level Lliga Catalana with the Liga ACB ( Spanish 1st Division) teams from Catalonia. Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular Basketball court, court, compete with the primary objective of #Shooting, shooting a basketball (ball), basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a Backboard (basketball), backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. FC Barcelona Bàsquet B
FC Barcelona Bàsquet B (English: FC Barcelona Basketball B), commonly referred to as FC Barcelona B () and colloquially known as Barça B (), is the reserve team of the FC Barcelona. The team currently plays in the Spanish 3rd-tier level LEB Plata. History In 2003, Barcelona B won the amateur Spanish 4th-tier level Liga EBA, and thus got promoted to the LEB 2 division, but afterwards, they renounced their spot. After an agreement between FC Barcelona and CB Cornellà, for Cornellà to collaborate again as a reserve team of FC Barcelona; the 'B' team was folded by Barcelona, between 2005 and 2010. In 2010, FC Barcelona B was re-opened, and played in the LEB Plata division. El Prat de Llobregat (), commonly known as El Prat , is a municipality of Spain located in the ''comarca'' of Baix Llobregat in Catalonia. Balaguer
Balaguer () is the capital of the ''comarca'' of Noguera, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It is located by the river Segre, a tributary to the Ebre. The municipality includes an exclave to the east. Balaguer also has a sister city in the western United States, Pacifica, California. Balaguer was conquered from the Moors by Ermengol VI of Urgell in 1106; he made it his new capital, and it remained so for subsequent counts of Urgell. The town has a Gothic bridge, the "Pont de Sant Miquel", over the Segre river. Carles Marco Viñas (born September 23, 1974) is a Spanish retired basketball player, who played as point guard, and the current assistant coach for Crvena zvezda of the EuroLeague and the ABA League. Professional career Marco spent all his career in the two top divisions of the Spanish basketball, making his debut at Liga ACB in 1998 with Fórum Valladolid.
