L. J. Collier
Lawrence Edward "L. J." Collier Jr. (born September 12, 1995) is an American football defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at TCU, and was drafted by the Seahawks in the 1st round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Early years Collier grew up in his father's hometown of Munday, Texas. He attended Munday High School, where he helped lead the Moguls to a state championship as a junior in 2012. He recorded six tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a touchdown on an interception return to earn Defensive MVP honors for the game. On February 5, 2014, he signed a letter of intent to attend Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas on a football scholarship. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. 2019 NFL Draft
The 2019 NFL Draft was the 84th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2019 NFL season. The draft was held on April 25–27 in Nashville, Tennessee. The first round was held on April 25, followed by the second and third rounds on April 26, and concluded with rounds 4–7 on April 27. Frank Clark (American Football)
Frank Dominick Clark (born June 14, 1993), nicknamed "The Shark", is an American football defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan. As a junior, he was a 2013 All-Big Ten second-team selection by the coaches and honorable mention selection by the media for the 2013 team. Clark was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. After spending his rookie year in a reduced backup role, Clark totaled 10 sacks in his sophomore season. He continued his high level of play the following two years, making a combined 22 sacks and five forced fumbles. 2018 Cheez-It Bowl
The 2018 Cheez-It Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 26, 2018 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. It was one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. It was the 30th edition of a bowl game that has gone by various names, and was called the Cactus Bowl for its previous four playings. The bowl was sponsored by Cheez-It crackers. Tied 7–7 at the end of regulation, it was the first 2018–19 bowl game to go into overtime; TCU defeated California in the first overtime period, 10–7. The two teams combined for six interceptions in the first half, more than any game during the 2018 season, with a total of nine for the entire game. Georgia Bulldogs Football
The Georgia Bulldogs football program represents the University of Georgia in the sport of American football. The Bulldogs compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
