Kōji Seki
''aka'' (born September 20, 1911, date of death unknown) was a Japanese film director, known for his pioneering work in the ''pink film'' genre. Among the accomplishments of Seki's career: he directed the first ''pink films'' for Kokuei, the oldest ''pink film'' company, Japan's first 3-D film, the world's first 3-D sex film, and Japan's first "invisible man" ''pink film''. Life and career Early life Seki was born on September 20, 1911, near Kaminarimon in the Asakusa neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. His father was in the construction business. After graduating from high school in 1930, Seki attended the Tokyo School of Fine Arts (merged into Tokyo University of the Arts in 1949), dropping out after one year. Oniroku Dan
was a Japanese author who has been called, "the most celebrated writer of popular SM novels in Japan." Many of his stories have been filmed, most notably by Nikkatsu studio in their ''Roman Porno'' series. Dan had a close professional association with actress Naomi Tani throughout her career. Kin'ichi Kusumi
(born September 23, 1950) is a Japanese actor who has also used the stage name . He has appeared in tokusatsu kaiju productions (monster movies) and in pink films. Life and career Kusumi started appearing on Japanese TV as early as 1971 (under the name Mamoru Kusumi) when he played the role of Mirror Man in the Fuji TV superhero series of the same name which ran from December 1971 to November 1972. In 1973 he was the giant Zone Fighter in the Nippon Television series, again using the name Mamoru Kusumi. Again under the same name, he played the monsters Anguirus and King Caesar in the 1974 Toho film ''Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla''. Shintōhō Eiga
is a Japanese pink film production company and film distributor located in Tokyo, Japan which has been among the most influential studios in the pink film genre since its beginnings. Foundation The first Shintōhō, or "New Toho", also known as , was formed as an offshoot of the Toho Company after World War II. When this company went bankrupt in May 1961, two new companies were created in its place. Shintōhō's former president, Mitsuru Ōkura, formed the Ōkura Eiga studio (later OP Eiga) after buying the Shintōhō production facilities in Setagaya, Tokyo while Kōichi Gotō, a Shintōhō employee at the company's Kansai sales office in Osaka, bought the rights to the name of the company.
