, better known by the stage name , was a Japanese actor and voice actor born in Kagoshima Prefecture. ''3×3 Eyes'' (pronounced in Japanese) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuzo Takada. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''seinen'' manga magazines ''Young Magazine Kaizokuban'' and ''Weekly Young Magazine'' from 1987 to 2002, spanning to a total of 40 volumes. The English language translation was published by Dark Horse Comics, but was discontinued after the release of volume 8 in 2004.
