Kënga Magjike 2006
Kënga Magjike 08 was the eighth edition of the annual Albanian song competition, first held in 1999. It took place in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albania. There were two semifinals (17 and 18 November 2006) and a final (19 November 2006). Fifty-three songs were heard in advance by the public at home, which narrowed them down to 39 songs by televoting. These songs competed in the semi-finals but only 19 made it to the final. In the end, Armend Rexhepagiqi Armend is an Albanian male given name meaning "golden mind". Palace Of Congresses
The Palace of Congresses () is a venue in Tirana, Albania, where numerous multi-genre concerts, exhibition, festivals, competitions and other events are held, including the annual Festivali i Këngës and Kënga Magjike and the Tirana Book Fair. Çiljeta Xhilaga (born 5 February 1985), also known mononymously as Çiljeta, is an Albanian singer, model and actress. Biography Çiljeta was born into an Albanian family in Tirana, Albania, to Ferdinand Xhilaga, an accountant whose family hails from Dibër (municipality), Dibër but who was born in Delvinë, and Majlinda Xhilaga, a hairdresser, from Korçë. She attended the Sami Frashëri High School in Tirana. Career as model Xhilaga featured in the Miss Shqipëria competition in 2001 and won the title "Miss Cinema". Orinda is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The city's population as of the 2020 census is estimated at 19,514 residents. History Orinda is located within four Mexican land grants: Rancho Laguna de los Palos Colorados, Rancho Acalanes, Rancho El Sobrante and Rancho Boca de la Cañada del Pinole. The area was originally rural, mainly known for ranching and summer cabins. The Moraga Adobe was built in 1841, and is the oldest building in the East Bay. Rona Nishliu (born 25 August 1986) is a Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter. She came to international prominence after Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, representing Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she placed fifth and achieved the best placement for Albania to date. Early life and career 2004–2012: Early life and beginnings Rona Nishliu was raised in her birth town Mitrovica, Kosovo, Mitrovica, but moved with her family to Pristina at the age of thirteen due to the Kosovo war, political situation in her hometown.
