Kyungsung University
Kyungsung University is a private university in Busan, South Korea. It is located in the district of Nam-gu, southwest of the famous Haeundae beach. The campus is located near Kyungsung University-Pukyong National University Station on Line 2. The university was established by the late Reverend Dr. Kim Gil-Chang, a pioneer of Christianity in Korea. The university was originally called Kyungnam Teacher's College and established in 1955 under the ideals of Christian love and service, In 1979 the school was re-organized and renamed Pusan Industrial University. At the time of the founding of Pusan Industrial University, the General Construction Committee began work on expanding and improving the quality of the university's facilities. Nam-gu (Busan)
Nam District (literally ''south district'') is a '' gu'', or district, in south central Busan, South Korea. Much of Nam-gu sticks out into the Sea of Japan ( East Sea), forming a peninsula which separates Suyeong Bay from Busan Harbor. It has an area of 25.91 km². Nam-gu officially became a ''gu'' of Busan in 1975. In 1995 part of Nam-gu was divided to form Suyeong-gu. The Busan International Finance Center is located here. Haeundae Beach
Haeundae Beach（）is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. The beach is open year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. A popular beach event, "Polar Bear Club", during which participants bathe in near freezing water, has been held annually since 1988 in January. Pukyong National University
Pukyong National University (PKNU) is a national university in Busan, South Korea, formed in 1996. The university has two campuses, Daeyeon-dong and Yongdang-dong, situated near the coastal district of Nam-gu. PKNU has a traditional focus on fisheries sciences and other maritime fields, and has extensive facilities for Marine and Technology studies. Busan Subway Line 2
Busan Metro Line 2 () is a line of the Busan Metro that crosses Busan, South Korea, from east to west, running along the shores of Haeundae and Gwanganli, and then north toward Yangsan. The line is long with 44 stations. The line uses trains that have six cars each. A ride through the entire line takes about 1 hour 24 minutes. Busan Metro Line 2 will be expanded from Jangsan Station to East Busan Tourism Complex in Gijang County which will be opened in 2021. (Currently Planned) History Plans to create the line began in 1987 and were finalized by 1991. Gimhae () is a city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is the seat of the large Gimhae Kim clan, one of the largest Kim clans in Korea. The Gimhae Kims claim descent from the ancient royal house of Geumgwan Gaya, which was based in Gimhae. Gimhae is situated near the Nakdong River. Proto–Three Kingdoms Period
The Proto–Three Kingdoms period (or '' Samhan'' period) refers to the proto-historical period in the Korean Peninsula, after the fall of Gojoseon and before the maturation of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla into full-fledged kingdoms. It is a subdivision of what is traditionally called Korea's Three Kingdoms Period and covers the first three centuries of the Common Era, corresponding to the later phase of the Korean Iron Age. Cho Jae-hyun
Cho Jae-hyun (born June 30, 1965) is a South Korean film, stage, and TV actor. He is commonly dubbed "director Kim Ki-duk's persona" since Cho has starred as leading and supporting characters in a number of films directed by Kim. Early years and education Cho Jae-hyun was born in Gyeongju on June 30, 1965. He and his family lived in a poor neighborhood on the slopes of a hill until his father became successful with his restaurant business in the Jongno area, Seoul.
