Kyle Hartigan
Kyle Hartigan (born 7 November 1991) is a professional Australian rules football player who plays for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), having previously played for . Hartigan was selected with the Crows' first pick, number 14 overall, in the 2012 Rookie Draft. Pre-AFL career Overlooked in the 2009 national and rookie drafts as an 18-year-old, Hartigan was the subject of a tug-of-war between VFL teams Werribee and Williamstown; zoned to Williamstown, Hartigan wished to play for Werribee instead, to improve his chances of playing senior football and catching the eye of AFL recruiters looking for a mature prospect. Eventually the deal was done and Hartigan started playing for Werribee. He was invited to train with in the lead-up to the 2010 rookie draft, but was again overlooked. Keilor Football Club
The Keilor Football Club, nicknamed the Blues, is an Australian rules football club located in Keilor, Victoria, north west of Melbourne. The club originated in 1877, formed at a general meeting at the Waggoner's Arms Hotel. In 1926, the club became a founding member of the Keilor and Broadmeadows Football League, winning premierships in 1926 and 1928. Showdown (AFL)
The Showdown is an Australian rules football game played by the two Australian Football League (AFL) teams from South Australia, the Adelaide and Port Adelaide football clubs. The first AFL premiership fixture between the two clubs took place on 20 April 1997. The South Australian Brewing Company, makers of West End beers, were the first sponsors of the game and decided that the "Showdown" would be an appropriate name as a promotional opportunity for games between these two clubs, since it was the first time two South Australian teams had played against each other in the AFL.
