Kyla Discography
Filipino singer Kyla has released nine studio albums, one compilation album, one extended play (EP), fifty-two singles (including sixteen as featured artist), fifteen promotional singles, and thirty-three music videos. She signed with EMI Philippines and released her debut studio album, ''Way to Your Heart'', in 2000, which spawned three singles: "Bring It On", "One More Try", and "Hanggang Ngayon". Kyla's eponymous second album was released in March 2002, and contained the lead single "I Feel For You". In 2003, she released the title track from her third studio album, '' I Will Be There''. Two more singles were later released: "Bounce" and "Flexin", the latter featuring English boy band Blue Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. Kyla (Filipino Singer)
Melanie Alvarez (born Melanie Hernandez Calumpad), better known by her stage name Kyla, is a Filipino R&B singer and occasional actress and presenter. Kyla began her career in 2000 under OctoArts EMI Philippines and rose to prominence with the release of her second single "Hanggang Ngayon" (English translation: "''Until Now''"). The song won the MTV Viewers' Choice for Southeast Asia at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards making her the first East Asian female artist to win at the MTV Video Music Awards Known in the Philippines as "the Queen of R&B", her work has earned her several achievements, including a star on the Walk of Fame in the Philippines, and MTV Video Music Award, twelve Awit Awards, four MTV Philippines Music Award, and six MYX Music Awards. Human Nature (Michael Jackson Song)
"Human Nature" is a song performed by American singer Michael Jackson, and the fifth single from his sixth solo album, '' Thriller''. The track was produced by Quincy Jones and performed by members of Toto with Michael Jackson providing vocals. It was originally written by keyboardist Steve Porcaro, based on a conversation he had with his young daughter Heather after a boy pushed her at school, Porcaro said "he probably likes you and it's human nature". Porcaro, along with some of his bandmates from the band Toto, had been assisting with the production of ''Thriller'', but he had not intended for "Human Nature" to be used by Jackson. However, ''Thriller'' producer Quincy Jones inadvertently heard a demo version of the track and thought it would be a great fit for the album. Philippine Popular Music Festival
The Philippine Popular Music Festival (also known as Philpop) is an annual songwriting competition organized by the Philpop MusicFest Foundation and was launched in 2012. The creation of the festival was inspired by the defunct Metro Manila Popular Music Festival. The foundation itself is headed by the chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, executive director Ryan Cayabyab and administrator and communications director Patricia Bermudez-Hizon. The competition is only open to original and previously unreleased songs in English, Filipino and other Philippine languages. Since its inception, it's been airing annually in TV5. There are three prizes given: Grand Prize (₱1,000,000), 2nd Prize (₱500,000) and 3rd Prize (₱250,000). An additional award is given named Smart People's Choice Award (₱200,000), which is the most popular song based on the text votes sent by the people. People who win these prizes also receive trophies while the defeated finalists each receive ₱50,000 and a plaque. ...

Brian Kelly McKnight (born June 5, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, radio host and multi-instrumentalist. He is most recognized for his strong head voice, high belting range and melisma. Journey (Kyla EP)
''Journey'' is an EP by Filipino R&B/ pop singer Kyla released on May 10, 2014. It is Kyla's first EP and was distributed by PolyEast Records. Development Shortly after her return in late 2013, Kyla began recording a new album. In March 2014, Kyla renewed her contract with EMI Philippines/PolyEast Records. Kyla performed the album's first single, "Kunwa-kunwari Lang" in the Grand Finals of Myx Philippines' ''Myx VJ Search'' last April 8, 2014 at the Alphonse Bar in Ortigas, Pasig. On April 10, PolyEast Records released a lyric video of the single. On April 24, PolyEast announced that Kyla's album will be released on May 10, 2014. A week before its release, the EP was made available for download on Spinnr on April 29 and iTunes on May 2, 2014. Private Affair (Kyla Album)
''Private Affair'' is the eighth studio album of Filipino singer Kyla, released in the Philippines on November 30, 2010, by PolyEast Records. After successfully promoting her albums in Malaysia and Indonesia, it was announced that Kyla was planning to release a new album with her label in early 2010. Originally slated for a May 2010 release, the album's release date was pushed back to September. Due to heightened international activity, it was, again, pushed back to November 2010. Production In recording the album, Kyla hoped to produce songs that sounded like vintage Motown with "old school R&B, jazz and pop." It is "composed mostly of melodic ballads" with few upbeat and mid-tempo tracks added.
