Kuzman Babeu
Kuzman Babeu (; born 4 November 1971) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a defender and current manager. Career Regarded as a physical player, Babeu is best remembered for his time at Obilić, between 1996 and 2000, during Arkan's ownership of the club. He was one of the most regular members of the team that controversially won the 1997–98 First League of FR Yugoslavia. In the summer of 2000, Babeu was close to signing with Red Star Belgrade. However, according to Babeu, the club's president, Dragan Džajić, eventually decided to pull out of the deal due to Babeu's mature age. After leaving Obilić, Babeu briefly played for Slavia Sofia (2000), Sutjeska Nikšić (2001), Remont Čačak (2001), Mladost Apatin (2002), Palilulac Beograd (2003), Henan Construction (2004), and Hajduk Beograd (2005). The Serbia and Montenegro Cup was an association football knockout cup tournament of Serbia and Montenegro played between 1992 and 2006, after which Serbia and Montenegro became separate nations. The competition was the continuation of the old Marshal Tito Cup of the SFR Yugoslavia, and it was named FR Yugoslavia Cup between 1992 and 2003, when the official name of the country was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The First League of Serbia and Montenegro ( sr, Прва савезна лига / Prva savezna liga) was the top football league of Serbia and Montenegro, before the country's dissolution in 2006. The league was formed following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992, effectively succeeding the Yugoslav First League. The league was renamed the Serbia and Montenegro SuperLiga prior to its final 2005–06 season. From 1993 to 1998, the league abandoned the traditional single-league structure, which was used in the first season, and the division was split into two groups; Group A (known as IA) for the top-seeded teams and Group B (IB) for the other teams. Incidents Eternal derby abandoned The 115th edition of the Eternal derby match between Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan on Saturday, 14 October 2000 at the Marakana was abandoned after three minutes of play due to fan rioting. The incident began with Partizan fans, Grobari, pelting the pitch with flares at which point the match play got interrupted. The 2000–01 A Group was the 53rd season of the A Football Group, the top Bulgarian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The league was contested by the top 12 teams from the 1999–2000 season as well as Cherno More Varna and Hebar Pazardzhik, who joined as the promoted clubs from the 1999–2000 B Group. Dragan Džajić ( sr-Cyrl, Драган Џајић; born 30 May 1946) is a Yugoslav former footballer from Serbia. Džajić is widely considered to be one of the best footballers to emerge from the former Yugoslavia, and one of the greatest left wingers of all time. Džajić was known for his crosses, passes, dribbling with great pace, natural technique and his left footed free kicks.
