Kuwait Central Blood Bank is the only blood bank in Kuwait being operated by the government. It is located in Jabriya behind Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Emblem Of Kuwait
The emblem of Kuwait ( ar, شعار الكويت) was created in 1962 and it consists of the shield of the flag design in color superimposed on a golden falcon (Hawk of Quraish) with wings displayed. The falcon supports a disk containing a boom sailing ship, a type of dhow, with the full name of the state written (in Arabic) at the top of the disk. The dhow is a symbol of the maritime tradition of the country and is also found in the national coat of arms of Qatar (until 2008, also in the UAE coat of arms). The falcon is a symbol of the Banu Quraish line, to which the Islamic prophet Muhammad belonged and is likewise found in many coats of arms of the Arabian Peninsula. The coat of arms replaced an older emblem with a falcon and two crossed flags. Jabriya District
Jabriya District is one of the districts of Hawalli Governorate in Kuwait. Jabriya hosts a large number of facilities beginning from hospitals such as Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and private clinics such as Al Hadi Hospital and has in Block 12 the New English School. It also has three Starbucks Coffee branches (one which is in Al Hadi Hospital) and also has a Hardee's, McDonald's and two KFC branch. The Sultan Center opened a branch in Block 12 of Jabriya and there are also the local co-op/supermarkets. There is also a branch for the National Bank of Kuwait and Al Ahli Bank. Also in Jabriya just on the borders with Hawalli is the Kuwait Central Blood Bank. There is also a Medical Research Center. Jabriya is home to many foreigners who work in schools close by and of course it contains a large number of Kuwaitis. Houses in Jabriya are between 2-4 stories tall. The Ministry of Health is the ministry responsible for the public health of citizens and residents of the State of Kuwait and for drawing up the health policy plan in Kuwait. Jabriya ( ar, الجابرية) is in an area in Hawalli Governorate in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is a large, mainly residential area that borders Surra, Hawalli, Salmiya and Bayan. Jabriya has seen an increase of commercial activities in recent years. On 31 December 2007, Jabriya's population was estimated to be 66,056 Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, one of the six public hospitals in Kuwait, was built there in 1982.
