Kuala Langat Municipal Council ( ms, Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat) is the municipal council which administers Kuala Langat District. This agency is under the purview of Selangor state government. History Established on January 1, 1977, under the Local Government Act 1976 by a combination of 3 Local Councils: Sg. Jarom, Tanjung Sepat Local Council, Kuala Langat Municipal Board. Early establishment 3.7 square miles (9.6 km), 2001 increased to 62,294 km2 and 2006 increased to 857.70 km2 including 3 nautical miles. People's Justice Party (Malaysia)
The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. The party was led by Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and increased its parliamentary representation from one seat to 31 seats in the 2008 general election, until the five-year political ban imposed on former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was lifted on 14 April 2008. Sultan Abdul Samad ibni Almarhum Raja Abdullah ( Jawi: سلطان عبد الصمد ابن المرحوم راج عبد الله ; born Raja Abdul Samad bin Raja Abdullah, 1804 - 6 February 1898) was the fourth Sultan of Selangor. Raja Abdul Samad was born in 1804 at Bukit Melawati in Selangor son to Raja Abdullah ibni Almarhum Sultan Ibrahim Shah, the younger brother of Sultan Muhammad Shah. Tanjung Sepat ( Jawi: تنجوڠ سڤات; zh, 丹绒士拔) is a town in Kuala Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is on the Strait of Malacca. Carey Island ( ms, Pulau Carey) is an island in Selangor, Malaysia. It is administered by the Zone 17 of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council.
