Kukeiha Club
, stylized as KuKeiHa CLUB, is a band that was formed by Motoaki Furukawa, a composer, arranger, and producer working for the game firm Konami, after his work on ''Gradius III'' back in 1990. It is often confused with コナミ矩形波倶楽部 ( Konami Kukeiha Club), Konami's team of composers (music in Konami games are credited to Konami Kukeiha Club, not Kukeiha Club). It consists of members from Konami's music production department, mirroring similar bands at the time from other game companies such as Capcom's Alph Lyla and Sega's S.S.T. Band. The band has two "original" albums: A self-titled back in 1990 featuring five original songs and five cover tracks and a second album entitled ''Hope'' featuring 10 original tracks. In a few rare cases, other members of Kukeiha Club are known to perform live (such as in the 1991 ''Konami All Stars: The Sentryp-Bako Heisei 4 Nen Ban'' album). , sometimes credited professionally as TAPPY, is a Japanese musical composer. He is best known for his contributions to the ''Metal Gear'' and '' Suikoden'' franchises. Iwase studied music with Dick Grove at the Grove School of Music prior to its closure in 1991. Kenichiro Fukui
is a Japanese video game composer and electronic musician. Before working at Square Enix, he was employed at Konami. He was also an arranger and a keyboardist in the band The Black Mages. Additionally, Fukui arranged Angela Aki's " Kiss Me Good-Bye" from ''Final Fantasy XII''. In October 2007, he left Square Enix to become a lecturer, although he continued to work with The Black Mages until the band dissolved in 2010, and continued to do freelance work with video games. Akira Jimbo
, is a Japanese jazz fusion drummer who combines electronic drum technology and acoustic drums. Aside from his solo work, he was the drummer for the Japanese jazz fusion band Casiopea and had participated in side projects with Keiko Matsui, Shambara, and Brian Bromberg. Background Akira Jimbo began drumming at the age of 18 when he joined the Keio University Light Music Society Big Band. He became a member of Casiopea in 1980.
