Krüller (album)
''Krüller'' is the seventh studio album by one-man industrial metal band Author & Punisher, released on February 11, 2022 via Relapse Records. Produced by Tristan Shone of Author & Punisher and electronic musician Vytear, the album features contributions from Perturbator, as well as from Tool members Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor. Background and recording Early writing process for ''Krüller'' started in 2020, following the band's 2020 tour with Tool, which was cut short due to the advent of COVID-19 pandemic. On that tour, Shone has recorded his live performances, which he analyzed and reflected upon following the end of the tour. He has and opted to focus on "the balance between heaviness and melody" on the next record. Author & Punisher is a one-man band from San Diego, formed in January 2004 by mechanical engineer and artist Tristan Shone. Most of the instrumentation and controllers Shone uses, called "Drone Machines" and "Dub Machines", are custom-designed and fabricated by Shone from raw materials and open-source electronic circuitry. Shone has released nine albums as Author & Punisher, with '' Melk en Honing'' (2015) and ''Pressure Mine'' (2017) released through Phil Anselmo's record label Housecore Records. ''Blade Runner: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack for Ridley Scott's 1982 science-fiction noir film ''Blade Runner'', composed by Greek electronic musician Vangelis. It has received acclaim as an influential work in the history of electronic music and one of Vangelis's best works. It was nominated in 1983 for a BAFTA and Golden Globe for best original score. Scorn (band)
Scorn is an English electronic music project. The group was formed in the early 1990s as a project of former Napalm Death members Mick Harris and Nic Bullen. Bullen left the group in 1995 and the project continued on until the end of 2011, as an essentially solo project for Harris. Harris restarted the project in 2019. History Scorn was formed in 1991 in Birmingham, England, by drummer Mick Harris and vocalist/bassist Nic Bullen, former members of English grindcore band Napalm Death. Upon Bullen's departure in April 1995, Harris remained the only member of the project. Scorn has often been associated with industrial and experimental music, particularly with their Earache Records-era output between 1991 until 1994. Godflesh
Godflesh are an English industrial metal band from Birmingham. The group formed in 1982 under the title Fall of Because but did not release any complete music until 1988 when Justin Broadrick (guitar, vocals and programming) and G. C. Green ( bass) renamed the band and decided to use a drum machine for percussion. Melding heavy metal with industrial music and later with electronic music and dub, Godflesh's sound is widely regarded as a foundational influence on other industrial metal and post-metal acts and as significant to both experimental and extreme metal. Alice In Chains
Alice in Chains (often abbreviated as AIC) is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley. Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who had died in 2002.
