Krzysztof Kieślowski (; 27 June 1941 – 13 March 1996) was a Polish film director and screenwriter. He is known internationally for ''Dekalog'' (1989), ''The Double Life of Veronique'' (1991), and the ''Three Colours'' trilogy (1993 –1994).Stok 1993, p. xiii. Krzysztof Bednarski
Krzysztof Michał Bednarski (''KMB'') (25 July 1953 in Kraków) is a contemporary Polish-Italian sculptor. Life He was one of three sons of Irena and Jerzy Bednarski. Before the war, his parents lived in Lviv, Lwów on Kulparkowska Street. Bednarski completed the XIV High School of General Gottwald in Warsaw. Later he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1973-1978) in the sculpture department in the studios of Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz and Oskar Nikolai Hansen. His diploma was entitled ''Portret Totalny Karola Marksa'' (Karol Marx's Total Portrait) and was defended on July 5, 1978. He was later associated with the theater of Jerzy Grotowski, for which, during the period from 1976-1981, he designed posters. At that time, his first son was born and he worked at the quarry in Borów. Since 1986, he has been living in Rome, Italy. Krzysztof Komeda
Krzysztof Trzciński (27 April 1931 – 23 April 1969), known professionally as Krzysztof Komeda, was a Polish film music composer and jazz pianist. Perhaps best known for his work in film scores, Komeda wrote the scores for Roman Polanski’s films ''Knife in the Water'' (1962), '' Cul-de-sac'' (1966), ''The Fearless Vampire Killers'' (1967), and '' Rosemary’s Baby'' (1968). Krzysztof Olaf Charamsa (; born 5 August 1972) is a Polish Catholic theologian and author. In 2015, after declaring he was homosexual and in a relationship, he was suspended from his position as a Catholic priest and removed from several previous posts in the Roman Curia. Early life and education Charamsa was born on 5 August 1972 in Gdynia, Poland. His father worked as an economist, and his mother was a devout Catholic. He studied theology and philosophy from 1991 to 1993 in Pelplin in Poland and from 1993 to 1997 at the Catholic theological faculty of Lugano (which is not part of the University of Lugano) in Switzerland. Krzysztof January Krawczyk (; 8 September 1946 – 5 April 2021) was a Polish baritone pop singer, guitarist and composer. Krzysztof Opaliński (21 January 1611 – 6 December 1655) was a Polish szlachta (nobleman), politician, writer, satirist, and Voivode (Governor) of Poznań. A notable figure during the Swedish Deluge, Opaliński was a skilled diplomat who opposed King John II Casimir and published many of his works concerning the daily political or social matters in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, (; nom de guerre: Jan Bugaj; 22 January 1921 – 4 August 1944) was a Polish poet and Home Army soldier, one of the most well known of the Generation of Columbuses, the young generation of Polish poets, of whom several perished in the Warsaw Uprising and during the German occupation of Poland. Krzysztof Głowacki (born 31 July 1986) is a Polish professional boxer who has held the WBO cruiserweight title twice; from 2015 to 2016 and again in 2019 (elevated from interim champion). Krzysztof Nowak
Krzysztof Nowak (; 27 September 1975 – 26 May 2005) was a Polish football player, best known for his stint with the VfL Wolfsburg team. Nowak began playing football in 1985. He slowly rose in prominence and in 1996 moved to Brazil with fellow countryman Mariusz Piekarski to play for Atlético Paranaense. He always wanted to play in Europe, so he moved to Germany in 1998 to play for Wolfsburg. Nowak, dubbed "ten of hearts" by his fans, was popular as well as skilled, but was forced to retire from the sport in early 2002 after he learned he had motor neurone disease (MND). Krzysztof Chodkiewicz or Katkevičius (died 1652) was a Polish–Lithuanian nobleman ( szlachcic). History Chodkiewicz held the title of Great Standard Bearer of Lithuania ( lt, Vėliavininkas). In 1610, he was named Master of the Horse of Lithuania. In 1623, Castellan of Trakai, and in 1633, Castellan of Vilnius, in 1636, Voivode of Vilnius Voivodeship. Finally in 1642, he became Starost (Grodzki) of Babruysk, Kreva and held the deeds to Biala and Wiszniewo. During the Polish–Swedish War, he participated in the siege of Pärnu, which started on February 28, 1601, under the command of his cousin, Jan Karol Chodkiewicz. He also took part in the Polish–Muscovite War, as a pułkownik (colonel) of the Lisowczyk regiment until March 28, 1617.
