Krypton (band)
Krypton is a Romanian rock band formed in 1982 by Eugen Mihăescu. History With the original line-up consisting of Eugen Mihăescu (guitars), Gabriel Golescu (guitar), Mihai Rotaru (drums) and George Lungu (bass), they managed to release their first songs on the Romanian state sanctioned Electrecord label's, "Formații rock 7" compilation in 1982. Following a major line-up change, bass player Dragoș Docan, drummer Liviu Pop and vocalist Marius Voicu join the band, laying the foundation for the more well-known group. After being invited to numerous events, even securing a slot at the famous Cenaclul Flacăra, the group managed to sign a deal with Electrecord, releasing their first LP, "30 minute". Their sound at this time was keyboard driven new wave inspired melodic hard rock. During the summer of 1989, founding member Eugen Mihăescu fled to Germany, so he only participated as a guest on the 1990 record "Fără Teamă", even though he composed a good portion of the material. ... New Wave Music

Holograf
Holograf is a modern rock band from Romania. Since the band's formation in 1978, Holograf released 18 albums. The band won the Excellence Prize at Romanian Media Music Awards in 2013, the awards for best pop-rock artist and best pop-rock song at Radio Romania Music Awards Gala in 2014 and was nominated multiple times at Romanian Music Awards for Best Group and for Best Song. History It was founded in 1978 by Mihai Pocorschi (guitar, voice), Eugen Sonia (bass guitar), Cristian Lesciuc (solo guitar) and Boris Petroff (drums). In 1979 Edi Petroșel (drums) și Tino Furtună (keyboards) joined and are still part of the band. Voltaj
Voltaj (, meaning ''voltage'' in Romanian) is a Romanian pop rock group. History Voltaj was formed in 1982, in Bucharest, by Horațiu Rad on bass, Nikki Dinescu (Krypton) on drums, Gabi Nacu (Krypton) on guitar, Cristi Minculescu (Iris) on vocals and Adrian Ilie (Iris) on guitar. Their sound at the time was on the heavier side of hard rock, being one of the earliest examples of traditional heavy metal in the Romanian scene. During this period there were numerous changes in the line-up, all the disputes even spawning a second Voltaj, known as Voltaj 88', which also managed to release a couple of albums during the '90s. Cenaclul Flacăra
Cenaclul Flacăra (Romanian for "The Flame Literary Circle") was a cultural and artistic movement in the Socialist Republic of Romania led by poet Adrian Păunescu. Between 1973 and 1985, it organized shows and concerts which, although rebellious in comparison to the official entertainment, promoted Nicolae Ceaușescu's cult of personality and the ideology of National Communism. Cenaclul Flacăra organized 1,615 shows of music, poetry and dialog throughout the country, having more than 6 million spectators.
