Kru
KRU was a Malaysian pop boy band formed in 1992. The group comprises three brothers, namely Datuk Norman Abdul Halim, Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim and Edry Abdul Halim'. Apart from revolutionising the Malaysian music scene with their blend of pop, R&B and hip hop, Dato' Norman Abdul Halim heads a successful business empire, KRU Studios, with Dato' Yusry Abdul Halim specialising in film, media content and live events, whilst Edry Abdul Halim is a successful composer/producer. On 18 April 2018, the group announced that they would disband after 25 years being together after their last concert, Konsert Gergasi KRU 25, held from 4 to 6 May. Cicak Man (film Series)
The ''Cicak Man'' is a Malaysian film series consisting of three superhero films based on the fictional KRU Studios's ''Cicak Man'' comic book, portrayed by Hairi Yatim. KRU hired his trusted crew, Yusry Abdul Halim to direct all the films, and the series began with ''Cicak Man'' (2006) and '' Cicak Man 2: Planet Hitam'' (2008). For the third film, ''Cicak Man 3'' (2015), the film were co-directed by Yusry and Ghaz Abu Bakar . For the first two films, Hairi (Saiful Apek) developed a relationship with his lab partner crush, Tania Ashraf (Fasha Sandha). He battled the villains Professor Klon (Aznil Nawawi), Ginger 1/Ginger Ghost 1 (Adlin Aman Ramlie), Ginger 2/Ginger Ghost 2 (AC Mizal), and Rrama (Tamara Bleszynski). KRU Studios is a Malaysian media and entertainment company. ''Anugerah Industri Muzik'' (literally: "Music Industry Award"), commonly known by the acronym AIM, is an award ceremony which celebrates the Malaysian music industry. ''Anugerah Juara Lagu'' (literally: "Song Championship Award"), commonly known by the acronym AJL, is a popular annual music competition in Malaysia, organised by TV3 since 1986. It features the best musical and lyrical compositions of each year it is held. The 2011 Southeast Asian Games, ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia Tenggara 2011) officially known as the 26th Southeast Asian Games, or the 26th SEA Games, and commonly known as Jakarta-Palembang 2011, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held from 11 to 22 November 2011 in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. It was Indonesia's fourth time to host the Southeast Asian Games, and its first since 1997. Previously, Indonesia also hosted in 1979 and 1987. The capital city of Jakarta hosted all three of the previous Games prior to this.
