Kristin Klein
Kristin Klein Keefe ( Kristin Magdalen Klein; born March 20, 1970, in Santa Monica, California) is an American retired volleyball player who played as an outside hitter. She represented the United States national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, finishing in seventh place. Klein played as a member of the United States B-team at the 1991 Pan American Games. She also played at the 1991 Summer Universiade, where she won a bronze medal. Klein joined the United States national team in August 1992. In 1995, she won a silver medal at the Pan American Games. College Klein played college women's volleyball for Stanford University, where she was a four-time All-American. In 1991, she was selected as ''Volleyball Monthlys Player of the Year. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. Adam Keefe (basketball)
Adam Thomas Keefe (born February 22, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal. The 10th overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks, Keefe played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1992 to 2001 and in Spain from 2001 to 2003. Early life and college career Born and raised in Irvine, California, Keefe played basketball for Woodbridge High School. As a senior at Woodbridge in 1988, Keefe was the ''USA Today'' California Athlete of the Year. From 1988 to 1992, Keefe attended Stanford University, where he earned a degree in political science while a member of both the basketball and volleyball teams.
