Kristie Mewis
Kristen Anne Mewis (born February 25, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. Early life Mewis grew up in Hanson, Massachusetts, where she attended Whitman-Hanson Regional High School and played on the soccer team. She finished her high school career with 74 goals and 34 assists. She was a three-time NSCAA All-American, three-time All-New England and All-Massachusetts team honoree and a three-time Eastern Massachusetts Girls Soccer Association Div. 1 First-Team All-Star. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually by the Missouri Athletic Club to the United States's top men's and women's college soccer players. Victoria Teresa DiMartino (born September 4, 1991) is an American former soccer player from Massapequa, New York. She was a forward for the Western New York Flash in the National Women's Soccer League, and a defender for the United States U-20 women's national soccer team. Early life DiMartino grew up in Massapequa, New York and attended Massapequa High School where she was a 2009 Parade All-American. During her three seasons at Massapequa, she scored 52 goals and provided 27 assists. She was named All-County as a freshman, sophomore and junior. In 2007, she was named an NSCAA Youth All-American. The 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is the first women's football U-17 World Cup in FIFA history. It was held in New Zealand from 28 October to 16 November 2008. Samantha June Mewis (born October 9, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), as well as the United States national team. She played college soccer for the UCLA Bruins. Hanson, Massachusetts
Hanson is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. Part of Greater Boston, Hanson is located 20 miles (32 km) south of Boston and is one of the inland towns of the South Shore. The population was 10,639 at the 2020 census. History Hanson was first settled in 1632 as the western parish of Pembroke.
