Kristian Kojola

	Kristian Kojola Kristian Kojola (born 12 September 1986) is a retired Finnish professional football central defender. Kojola started his senior career in Espoo, Finland where he played for the local team FC Espoo before moving to FC Hämeenlinna. He also represented the Finnish national football team. He retired after the 2018 season. Club career Early career Kojola started his senior career in 2003 in FC Espoo. During season 2005 he made his Veikkausliiga debut in AC Allianssi. Between 2005 and 2007 he represented FC Hämeenlinna. He made his Veikkausliiga break through in 2008 when he gained 16 caps in FF Jaro. He transferred to Tampere United for the season 2010. In the end of 2010 Tampere United was excluded from participating in Finnish football and Kojola moved to IFK Mariehamn. The season started on 2 April 2016; the regular season ended on 23 October 2016, with a promotion/relegation playoff continuing until 29 October. SJK were the defending champions. 	2008 Veikkausliiga The 2008 season of Veikkausliiga was the 78th season of top-tier football in Finland. It started on 27 April 2008 and ended on 26 October 2008. The defending champions were Tampere United. Promotion and relegation AC Oulu finished at the bottom of the 2007 season and therefore were relegated to Ykkönen. Their place was taken by Ykkönen champions KuPS. 13th placed Veikkausliiga team FC Viikingit and Ykkönen runners-up RoPS competed in a two-legged relegation play-offs for one spot in 2008 Veikkausliiga. 	Kakkonen Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. League structure For the 2012 season the format of the Kakkonen has been changed with the league divided in 4 groups of 10 teams, each representing a geographical area. Every club plays each of the others in the same group three times. Clubs gain three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss.
