Kristian Dacey
Kristian Dacey (born 25 July 1989) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays as a hooker for Cardiff Rugby. Born in Merthyr Tydfil, he began his rugby career with Abercynon and Merthyr, before moving to Pontypridd. He first played for the Cardiff Blues in 2011. On 20 January 2015, Dacey was named in the 34-man Wales squad for the 2015 Six Nations Championship. Dacey made his full international debut for Wales versus Ireland on 8 August 2015 as a second-half replacement. Dacey was called up as cover for the 2017 British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand. Brecon Rugby Football Club ( cy, Clwb Rygbi Aberhonddu) is a rugby union club from the town of Brecon, Mid Wales. The club is a member of the Welsh Rugby Union and is a feeder club for Cardiff Rugby. The club was one of the eleven founding members of the Welsh Rugby Union in 1881. Brecon, along with Pontypool, Llandovery College, Lampeter College, Llandeilo and Merthyr inaugurated the South Wales Cup competition in the 1877-78 season. The first recorded match with a Brecon rugby team first appeared on 9 November 1867 in "The Brecon County Times" where a Town team from Brecon lost 2-0 to Christ's College, Brecon on 6 November 1867. 2017 British & Irish Lions Tour To New Zealand
The British & Irish Lions toured New Zealand during June and July 2017. The Lions, a rugby union team selected from players eligible to represent England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales, played ten matches: against all five New Zealand Super Rugby franchises, the NZ Provincial Barbarians, the Māori All Blacks and three test matches against New Zealand. The test series was drawn 1–1 – one victory each and a draw in the third match. Of the other tour matches, the Lions won four, lost two and drew one. Wales coach Warren Gatland was head coach of the Lions, having also led the Lions to victory in the 2013 series against Australia. The 2015 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2015 RBS 6 Nations because of the tournament's sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 16th series of the Six Nations Championship, the annual rugby union tournament.
