Maurice Kremer
Maurice Kremer (1824–1907) was an American businessman and civil servant. Biography Kremer, who was Jewish, was born in Lorraine, France on January 18, 1824. He immigrated to the United States first to Memphis, Tennessee, then followed the California gold rush west across the Isthmus of Panama to the Pacific coast. He worked briefly with his cousins, Elie and Simon Lazard of Lazard Freres, in Sacramento and San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles in 1852. In the same year, he opened a dry goods store, Lazard & Kremer Company, with his cousin and brother-in-law Solomon Lazard (Lazard and Kremer both married daughters of Joseph Newmark). In 1856, they formed ''Newmark, Kremer & Co.'' with his father-in-law, Joseph Newmark, and Newmark's nephews, Joseph P. Newmark and Harris Newmark. Marie Kremer (born 15 April 1982 in Uccle) is a Belgian actress. Marcos Kremer (born 30 July 1997) is an Argentine rugby union player who plays for Top 14 team Stade Français. His playing positions are Lock and flanker. Having played rugby from a young age, representing Los Espinillos at the age of 15 and Club Salto Grande 16, he made his senior debut at Club Atlético del Rosario at the age of 17. He became a familiar starter at the club when he turned 18, starting in most matches in early 2016. Leon Kremer
Leon Kremer (1901–1941) was a Polish chess master. He played several times in the Warsaw championships, and won in 1929. He also took 6th in 1925 (Stanisław Kohn won), took 4th in 1926 (Abram Blass and Paulin Frydman won), shared 1st with Kohn in 1927, tied for 6-8th in 1928 (Blass won), and took 3rd in 1930 (Frydman won). He twice represented Warsaw in the Polish team championships at Królewska Huta 1929 and Katowice 1934. He played four times in the Polish championships; took 11th at Warsaw 1926 (Dawid Przepiórka won), took 9th at Lodz 1927 (Akiba Rubinstein won), tied for 12-14th at Warsaw 1935 (Savielly Tartakower won), and tied for 14-16th at Jurata 1937 (Tartakower won). Kurt Kremer (born 17 June 1956 in Kapellensüng (Lindlar)) is a German physicist. Career Kremer studied physics from 1974 to 1980 at the University of Cologne, where he also did his PhD in 1983 under supervision of Prof. Dr. Kurt Binder. From 1982 to 1984 he was part of the scientific staff at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Following this work he worked as a postdoc at Exxon Research and Engineering Co., Annandale NJ and returned to Jülich after his Habilitation at the University of Mainz in 1988. Johann Kremer
Johann Paul Kremer (26 December 1883 – 8 January 1965) was German professor, physician and war criminal. He was a professor of anatomy and human genetics at Münster University who joined the Wehrmacht on May 20, 1941. He served in the SS in the Auschwitz concentration camp as a physician from 30 August 1942 to 18 November 1942. A member of the NSDAP, he was involved in Nazi human experimentation on the prisoners of Auschwitz-Birkenau. He was sentenced to death in the Auschwitz Trial, but this sentence was later commuted to life imprisonment. He was released in 1958. Life prior to Auschwitz Kremer was born in Stellberg. Jesse Kremer (born February 28, 1977) is a former American politician, pilot, emergency medical technician (EMT), and firefighter. From Kewaskum, Wisconsin, Kremer was born in Moline, Illinois on February 28, 1977. He served in the United States Army and Wisconsin Army National Guard. In 1995, Kremer graduated from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
