Kotelniki (russian: Котéльники) is a town of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located southeast of the center of Moscow. Population: History The village of Kotelniki was first mentioned in the 17th century and belonged to Golitsyns in the 19th century. It was granted town status in 2004. Kotelniki (Moscow Metro)
Kotelniki (russian: Коте́льники) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line. The eastern terminus of the line, east of the station of Zhulebino (Moscow Metro), Zhulebino, was opened on 21 September 2015. The station is located in the town of Kotelniki of Moscow Oblast. It is the second station of Moscow Metro in Moscow Oblast after Myakinino (Moscow Metro), Myakinino. In 1984, after the western part of the town of Lyubertsy was transferred to Moscow, rapid urban development started. The whole area, along with Lyubertsy and other areas along the Kazansky suburban direction of Moscow Railway, Kazansky and Ryazansky suburban direction of Moscow Railway, Ryazansky suburban directions of Moscow Railway were strongly dependent on the station of Vykhino, then the terminus of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line and a transfer station to both railway directions. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities. Galitzine
The House of Golitsyn or Galitzine was one of the largest princely of the noble houses in the Tsardom of Russia and Russian Empire. Among them were boyars, warlords, diplomats, generals (the Mikhailovichs), stewards, chamberlains, the richest men of Russia (the Alexeyevichs), and provincial landlords (the Vasilyevichs). Since 1694 Bolshiye Vyazyomy was one of the ancestral estates of the Golitsyns, but many others, like Arkhangelskoye Palace and Dubrovitsy near Podolsk, were owned by different branches or members of the family.
