Konstantin Ushakov
Konstantin Anatolyevich Ushakov (russian: Константин Анатольевич Ушаков; born 24 March 1970) is a Russian retired volleyball player, who was a member of the Men's National Team that won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Playing as a setter he won the 2002 Volleyball World League with Russia, and the 1999 World Cup. A four-time Olympian he also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, claiming the bronze medal. Working as the head coach he guided the Russian club Dinamo Krasnodar Dinamo Krasnodar (''russian: Динамо Краснодар'') is a Russian women's volleyball club based in Krasnodar. Omsk
Omsk (; rus, Омск, p=omsk) is the administrative center and largest city of Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is situated in southwestern Siberia, and has a population of over 1.1 million. Russia Women's National Volleyball Team
The Russia women's national volleyball team is governed by the Russian Volleyball Federation and participated in international volleyball competitions. They played from 1949 to 1991 as the Soviet Union and as the CIS in 1992. In response to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the International Volleyball Federation suspended all Russian national teams, clubs, and officials, as well as beach and snow volleyball athletes, from all events. The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) also banned all Russian national teams, clubs, and officials from participating in European competition, and suspended all members of Russia from their respective functions in CEV organs. FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1962 they have been held every four years. The current champion is Italy, who won their fourth title at the 2022 tournament, defeating Poland in the final. The current format of the competition involves a qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, to determine which teams qualify for the tournament phase, which is often called the ''World Championship Finals''. The Men's European Volleyball Championship (''EuroVolley'') is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV).
