Koni Chan
is a Japanese anime television series directed by Shinichi Watanabe and animated by Shaft. It aired on Animax from November 26, 2000, to May 29, 2001, and was produced by Animax and Genco is a Japanese anime production enterprise, founded on March 3, 1997. Presided over by Tarō Maki, its headquarters is located in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. It has produced numerous anime series such as ''Honey and Clover'', ''Nodame Cantabile'', ' .... Plot The series revolves around a boy named Koni, who is the center of attention. He can be whatever he wants, a lifeguard, a fireman, a samurai, or an astronaut. Shinichi Watanabe
is a Japanese anime director and voice actor. He is best known for his over-the-top adaptation of Rikdo Koshi's ''Excel Saga'', in which he appears as the character Nabeshin. Watanabe stated that the nickname Nabeshin (a name blending of "nabe" in Watanabe and "shin" in Shinichi) came to him from God. About his unique appearance (dressing similar to the character Arsène Lupin III) Watanabe said he grew out his afro and started wearing bright clothing in order to stand out and get attention. is Japanese painter, color designer, producer, and the current president of Shaft. Career Kubota began his career in the anime industry as a cel painter for the 1981 film ''Furiten-kun'' as a sub-contractor with painting studio Shaft, which had been founded in 1975 by Hiroshi Wakao. The next year, he debuted as a color designer ''Hitotsuboshi-ke no Ultra Baasan'' (1982–1983). is a Japanese composer. He has composed and synthesized scores for several Japanese television shows and animated series.
