Denaun Porter (born December 7, 1974), also known by the stage names Mr. Porter, Kon Artis, and more recently simply Denaun, is an American rapper and music producer. He was a member of Detroit hip hop group D12 until its disbandment in 2018. He has a close association with rapper Eminem, often appearing on his tours and has produced for a manifold of other notable artists such as 50 Cent, Royce da 5'9", The Game, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, Jadakiss and more. Career Born in North Carolina, Porter moved with his family to Mississippi and later to Detroit when he was 10 years old. His father, Charles, is a gospel singer and former member of The Blind Boys of Alabama and The Christianaires; his mother is a writer. Porter started his career with D12 in the mid-1990s. The Christianaires
The Christianaires was an American black gospel music group from Sontag, Mississippi, they were active from 1989 until 2004. At its inception, The group consisted of two sibling pairs, two brothers, Arnold and Ronald Brown, and two more brothers, Paul and Tyrone Porter. Later on with the subtraction of Paul Porter and Ronald Brown, the group added George Carter and Charles Porter. "Forever" is a song by rappers Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. Written alongside producer Boi-1da, the song was originally released as the third single from the soundtrack to LeBron James's '' More than a Game'' documentary and was placed on the ''Refill'' re-release of Eminem's album ''Relapse''. A hype man, in hip hop music and rapping, is a backup rapper and/or singer who supports the primary rappers with exclamations and interjections and who attempts to increase the audience's excitement with call-and-response chants. The hype man's interjections are also planned to give the MC an opportunity to breathe, and give the illusion of an unbroken flow. Bad Meets Evil is an American hip hop duo composed of Detroit-based rappers Royce da 5'9" (Bad) and Eminem (Evil). Bad Meets Evil was formed in 1998, thanks to the duo's mutual friend, Proof. The group's name comes from the song "Bad Meets Evil" on ''The Slim Shady LP'' in 1999, which featured Royce da 5'9". Their discography consists of one extended play (EP) and four singles.
