Kolej Mara Seremban
Kolej MARA Seremban ( en, MARA College Seremban; abbreviated KMS; formerly known as MRSM Seremban) was established in 1972. The college can accommodate up to 550 students per academic year. It is one of the four pre-university colleges operated by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and is state funded. It is one of the few institutions in Malaysia that provides the A-LevelsProgramme. History The college began its first few years as one of the first Maktab Rendah Sains MARA to be established by the organisation in 1972. 150 male students from all over Malaysia were enrolled in its first intake. During this time, the institution offers only the standard Malaysian curriculum for secondary students ranging from Form 1 to Form 5. The programme ended in 1985. Seremban
Seremban (Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Soghomban'', ''Somban''; Jawi: ) is a city in the Seremban District and the capital of the state of Negeri Sembilan in Peninsular Malaysia. The city's administration is run by the Seremban City Council. Seremban gained its city status on 20 January 2020. Toponymy Seremban was founded as Sungei Ujong (or Sungai Ujong), named after a nearby river of the same name. While the town was renamed Seremban thereafter, the name Sungai Ujong most prominently persists as a street name for a road adjoining the southern side of town (Sungai Ujong Road, or ''Jalan Sungai Ujong''). Negeri Sembilan (, Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Nogoghi Sombilan'', ''Nismilan'') is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east, and Malacca and Johor to the south. The name is believed to derive from the nine (''sembilan'') villages or '' nagari'' in the Minangkabau language (now known as ''luak'') settled by the Minangkabau, a people originally from West Sumatra (in present-day Indonesia). The Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA; ms, People's Trust Council) is a Malaysian government agency. It was formed to aid, train, and guide Bumiputra (Malay people, Malays and other indigenous Malaysians) in the areas of business and industry.
