Adavi, Nigeria
Adavi is a Local Government Area in Kogi State, Nigeria, adjoining Edo State in the south and the state capital Lokoja in the north. Its headquarters is in the town of Ogaminana near the A123 highway in the southwest of the area at. It has an area of 718 km and a population of 202,194 at the 2006 census. Otaru Salihu Ohize (5 February 1953 – 30 October 2016) was a Nigerian politician. He served as Senator for the Kogi Central constituency of Kogi State from 2007 to 2011. He was a member of the Action Congress (AC). All Progressives Congress
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Founded on 6 February 2013 from a merger of Nigeria's three largest opposition parties, the party came to power following the victory of party candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election. The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), formerly known as Action Congress (AC), was a Nigerian political party formed via the merger of a faction of Alliance for Democracy, the Justice Party, the Advance Congress of Democrats, and several other minor political parties in September 2006.
