''Kodiyil Oruvan'' () is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language political thriller film directed by Ananda Krishnan and produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Chendur Film International. It stars Vijay Antony and Aathmika. Vijay Antony also edited the film while the music is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna. The film was released on 17 September 2021. This film received mixed reviews upon its release, praising Vijay Antony's performance, the music and action sequences, but was criticized on the screenplay and predictable storyline. Ananda Krishnan (director)
Ananda Krishnan is an Indian film director working in Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with the 2014 thriller '' Aal'' and went on to direct the 2016 action crime film ''Metro'', before which he worked as an assistant director with Susi Ganeshan for the 2009 superhero film ''Kanthaswamy''. Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam (born 31 August 1981), also known by his initials A. D. K. or simply Dinesh Kanagaratnam, is a Sri Lankan R&B and hip hop artist and music producer who has composed tracks in Tamil language. Haricharan Seshadri, known mononymously as Haricharan (born 20 March 1987), is an Indian Carnatic vocalist, playback singer, and musician who predominantly works in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu music and cinema. Prem Kumar Gangai Amaren (born 26 February 1979), better known as Premgi, is an Indian playback singer, composer, songwriter, actor and comedian. Mohan Rajan is an Indian lyricist working on Tamil language films. Career Hailing from Valayapatti near Tiruchirappalli, Mohan Rajan arrived in Chennai in 2001, hoping to become a lyricist in the Tamil film industry. However, he failed to get a breakthrough and instead qualified himself by pursuing master's degree in Tamil literature and later media arts at Loyola College, Chennai.
