Knut Bry
Knut Johannes Bry (born 3 October 1946) is a Norwegian fine-art photographer and film director. Bry chose photography as a profession in 1975, when he was 29 years old. He has won a number of photographic awards, among them Photographer of the Year in the United States in 1986 and in Norway in 1989. He has permanent exhibits at the Henie-Onstad Art Centre, the Preus Museum, and Nord Norske Kunstsamlinger. His work has also been exhibited at Espace Canon in Paris, in Norilsk, and various museums in Norway. He has published and contributed to several books within photography, fashion, and food. Henie-Onstad Art Centre
The Henie Onstad Kunstsenter is an art museum located at Høvikodden in Bærum municipality in Viken county, Norway. It is situated on a headland jutting into the Oslofjord, approximately southwest of Oslo. History The artcentre was founded in 1968 by World and Olympic champion figure skater Sonja Henie (1912–1969) and her husband, shipping magnate and art collector Niels Onstad (1909–1978). Their private collection of contemporary art, total 110 images, as well as funds for construction and operation of the centre was donated by the couple in 1961, when the Sonja Henie and Niels Onstad Foundation was created. The centre, designed by Norwegian architects Jon Eikvar and Sven Erik Engebretsen, also contains Sonja Henie's award collection. Preus Museum
Preus Museum is the national museum for photography located in Horten, Norway. Preus Museum was founded in 1976 by Leif Preus and the members of the Preus family as a private museum. The collection was acquired by the Norwegian government in 1995. The museum's collection consists of photos and various other forms of images, together with cameras and related equipment which illustrate the history of photography. Norilsk ( rus, Нори́льск, p=nɐˈrʲilʲsk, ''Norílʹsk'') is a closed city in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located south of the western Taymyr Peninsula, around 90 km east of the Yenisey River and 1,500 km north of Krasnoyarsk. Hovet is a mountain village in Hol, Buskerud, Norway. Hovet is located between Strandavatnet and Hovsfjorden. Hovet is the site of Hovet Chapel (''Hovet kapell'').
