Klaus Riegert
Klaus Riegert (born 26 February 1959 in Süßen, Göppingen) is a German politician (CDU). Until 2013, he was deputy chairman of the Subcommittee on Civic Involvement of the Committee on Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth of the German Bundestag and chairman of the Working Group on Sport and Volunteering of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Life Riegert joined the police service of the state of Baden-Württemberg and, after obtaining his technical college entrance qualification, completed his studies at the ''Hochschule für Polizei Baden-Württemberg'' (University of Applied Sciences) in Villingen-Schwenningen, graduating with a Bachelor of Public Administration. Most recently, Riegert was deputy head of the criminal investigation department. Klaus Riegert is Catholic and married for the second time. He has two children from his first marriage. Bundestag
The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. Kirchheim unter Teck ( Swabian: ''Kircha'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the district of Esslingen. It is located on the small river Lauter, a tributary of the Neckar. It is 10 km (6 miles) near the Teck castle, approximately southeast of Stuttgart. It is the fourth city in the Esslingen district, forming a district centre for the surrounding communities. Since 1 April 1956, Kirchheim unter Teck has the status of Große Kreisstadt. 2013 German Federal Election
Federal elections were held on 22 September to elect the members of the 18th Bundestag of Germany. At stake were all 598 seats to the Bundestag, plus 33 overhang seats determined thereafter. The Christian Democratic Union of Germany/ Christian Social Union of Bavaria (CDU/CSU) of incumbent chancellor Angela Merkel won their best result since 1990 with nearly 42% of the vote and nearly 50% of the seats, just five short for an overall majority. FC Bundestag e.V. is a soccer team made up of former and current male and female members of the German Bundestag. It is part of the ''Sportgemeinschaft Deutscher Bundestag e. V.''. In addition to games against other parliamentary selections, the team competes against various amateur teams for the benefit of charitable causes. The prerequisite for the players of the opposing team is a minimum age of 40.
