''Klappe die 2te'' is the second studio album by German all-female pop-rap band Tic Tac Toe, released in 1997 by RCA Records RCA Records is an American record label currently owned by Sony Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America. It is one of Sony Music's four flagship labels, alongside RCA's former long-time rival Columbia Records; also A .... The lyrics and music were written by the band's manager Claudia Wohlfromm, her then-husband Torsten Börger, who also produced the album, and the band itself. The title translates ''Take Two''. The album spawned four singles, including the number-one " Warum?", arguably the band's biggest hit, and the international top 10 single "Mr. Wichtig". ''Klappe die 2te'' topped the charts in Germany and Switzerland, where it was certified double platinum, and has reportedly sold over 1.1 million copies in Germany alone as of 1998. Tic Tac Toe (band)
Tic Tac Toe were a German girl group formed in 1995, performing pop-rap music. Their first two albums, ''Tic Tac Toe'' and '' Klappe die 2te'', were million-selling commercial successes and spawned major hits "Ich find' dich scheiße", " Verpiss' dich" and "Warum?". The band found biggest popularity in German speaking countries, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. Due to numerous scandals and personal issues between the group members, Tic Tac Toe split in 2001. The band had a successful but short-lived comeback in 2005 with the hit single "Spiegel", but ultimately disbanded in 2007. The Dutch Album Top 100 or Album Top 100 is a weekly hit list of music albums, compiled by Dutch Charts. List shows the 100 best-selling music albums of the moment in the Netherlands. The list has passed through various name changes and has expanded from a Top 10 to a Top 100. Names Album chart by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40'' From 1969 to 1999, an alternative weekly album chart was published by offshore radio station Radio Veronica (1969-1974) and the '' Stichting Nederlandse Top 40'' (1974-1999). This chart varied in length from a top 20 (1969-1971 and from 1972 to 1974) to a top 50 (1971-1972 and 1974–1985), a top 75 (1985-1991) and a top 100 (1991-1999). The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old. If an album older than 18 months had enough sales to enter the 200 chart after having already dropped out of the 100th position, it would chart on The ''U.S. Billboard'' Catalog Albums.
