Kiçik Zirə
Vulf, or Volf , and also known as Dash Zira (Azeri: ''Daş Zirə'') or Kichik Zira ''(Kiçik Zirə)'', is an island of Azerbaijan, in the Caspian Sea. The word "Zira" originated in the Arabic word "Jazīra", meaning "island". Vulf is tiny and uninhabited. It is one of the many islands that protect the Bay of Baku. Geography The island is part of the Baku Archipelago, which consists of the following islands: Boyuk Zira, Kichik Zira, Qum Island or Peschany, Zenbil, Sangi-Mugan, Chikil, Qara Su, Khara Zira, Gil, Tava (Plita), Khanlar (Ptichiy), Ignat Dash and a few smaller ones. Chikil
Chikil ( az, Çigil adasi), also known as Oblivnoy, is an uninhabited island off the Bay of Baku, Azerbaijan. This island is part of the Baku Archipelago, which consists of the following islands: Nargin (island), Boyuk Zira, Vulf, Dash Zira, Qum Island or Peschanny, Zenbil, Sangi-Mugan, Chikil, Qara Su, Bulla Island, Khara Zira, Gil Island (Azerbaijan), Gil, Dashli ada, Ignat Dash and a few smaller ones. Grebes
Grebes () are aquatic diving birds in the order (biology), order Podicipediformes . Grebes are widely distributed freshwater birds, with some species also found in sea, marine habitats during Bird migration, migration and winter. Common Teal
The Eurasian teal (''Anas crecca''), common teal, or Eurasian green-winged teal is a common and widespread duck that breeds in temperate Eurosiberia and migrates south in winter. The Eurasian teal is often called simply the teal due to being the only one of these small dabbling ducks in much of its range. The bird gives its name to the blue-green colour teal. It is a highly gregarious duck outside the breeding season and can form large flocks. It is commonly found in sheltered wetlands and feeds on seeds and aquatic invertebrates. Sturgeon is the common name for the 27 species of fish belonging to the family Acipenseridae. Caspian Seal
The Caspian seal (''Pusa caspica'', syn. ''Phoca caspica'') is one of the smallest members of the earless seal family and unique in that it is found exclusively in the brackish Caspian Sea. It lives along the shorelines, but also on the many rocky islands and floating blocks of ice that dot the Caspian Sea. In winter and cooler parts of the spring and autumn season, it populates the northern Caspian coastline. As the ice melts in the summer and warmer parts of the spring and autumn season, it also occurs in the deltas of the Volga and Ural Rivers, as well as the southern latitudes of the Caspian where the water is cooler due to greater depth. Dashli Ada
Dashli ada (), Ignat Dash or Kamen Ignatiya () is an island in the Caspian Sea. It is one of the islands of Baku Archipelago located in the Bay of Baku, 74 km to the south of Baku. Dashli ada is part of the Baku Archipelago, which consists of the following islands: Boyuk Zira, Dash Zira, Qum Island, Zenbil, Sangi-Mugan, Chikil, Qara Su, Khara Zira, Gil and a few smaller ones.
